Who's going out shopping in the mad house today? Who's fighting traffic? Not I thank goodness! I do have to go to my SIL's for supper but she lives on my road. Looking forward to it.
Would you believe my crazy husband is taking the truck out on Sunday and will be back on tues.! Pushing it isn't he!! He better hope the truck doesn't break down...I will be furious!!
I'm doing a LO (layout) today of my granddaughter, or one of my kids years ago around the Christmas tree. Not sure which one I will do yet. I have to see the LO first. It's a surprise and we have been preparing for it all week in a group I am in. It is suppose to be revealed today. Fun fun. Hippy I so wish we lived closer...we could do this together:)
What are the rest of you hens up to today?

88FIn 1969 we decided to get married without a big wedding. Most of our friends and family liked large over the top for the time kind of weddings and I did not. First, I didn't see why spending so much money for one day when we have the rest of our lives to live. I have never regretted not having a big formal wedding. Another issue is not liking all the attention. Also, we have gone to big...

It's going to get hotter here with Thursday being the hottest. It's noon and 75f feels more like 80 or more.I've been cleaning up the deck in this morning and cleaning the windows outside. Then I cut up a pallet in half, I've decided to call it quits now because I went a bit light headed. Joanne, some drugs we take have an effect on us in the heat, I know a couple of mine do, maybe yours...

i can't decide if i'm up to going downtown yet. i need to pick up a few things and see if they have any decent bins since i need to get everything that was in boxes in my closet switched and probably re-wrapped since the boxes are pretty wet. the closet has to be sprayed again with mildew stuff and then they're supposed to change to flooring in kitchen, bathroom, hallways and they should in my bedroom...so i'm just trying to be patient and deal. ho ho ho!
I just set the bread machine on and waiting for the grand smells soon. I have some cookies dough thawing out so might make cookies later. If not today - tomorrow.
I have a hair touch up at 11:30, that will kill a couple hours. At 5 a open house up the street. That good as no cooking, just eat appetizers.
A bit sore as at last nights fire mans Christmas dinner ther was dancing. Darn husband had to turral me. Thank goodness I stayed on my feet.
Good day all and enjoy your projects.
Dixie- I don't know why men always try to push it. Sounds like your crafting has been a joy. I used to do lots of crafts when I had kids here. I really enjoyed it.
Serenity- so sorry you are having such issues at your home. Bad time of year too. If you go shopping I hope it is not too crazy.
Joyce- I love homemade bread. Haven't used my bread machine in ages. It does make the house smell yummy.
Janict- I haven't been dancing in a long time. It would not be pretty now LOL. Glad you had a good time, sorry you are sore. Need a "Calgon take me away moment".
Me- my son was going to help me get a tree up, but he got called into work. I ended up with major vertigo that started last night, so I don't want to do anything to increase it. Christmas decorations will have to wait.
Wishing all a peaceful weekend.
Hugs-RJ
I thought I was done, but checking the list twice....not so much. So I will be fighting all the crazy crowd at Wally World (as my hubby likes to call Walmart). It won't take that long, I'm sure. And I will get a parking spot right in front.
Cannot wait to see the LO of your granddaughter! And don't get me started on bad decisions with a hubby.....I would be here all night. lol I hope he makes it back in time and everything works out.
Love and hugs to all.
