sounds like a long drive, but i'm glad you're so excited about your project. i hope you have some nice time with dh.

i've been up for awhile sitting on the balcony enjoying the cool, morning air while it lasts. it's a beautiful morning and i actually feel rested! i still have a load of dishes to do today, but also i'm hoping to plant some more herbs. not sure if the rain will come or not and it's the end of the month budget crunch, so i can't do anything that costs money! maybe broil some fish and steam some veggies fro dinner since my appetite has return in a big way.

Hiya hens

Well.. so much for the nice sunshine they promised, its been grey and cloudy, but at least ive done a bit more to the pond.
If anyone wants a sore throat, i have one going free!

Dixe, we love going to thrift stores, you can find so much at low costs, garage sales are starting here and can sometimes find antique stuff very cheap!!
Didn't sleep good, loud music somewhere around our place, hate this trailer trash park, glad we are moving only 1 more weekend here and moving the next one!! So happy to be out of here and on a very quiet street in a city that I used to shop at with my ex husband when we were married!! Love it there, has a nice man made island and can walk around the whole thing, great workout!! Plus many geese migrate here and stay all year round, it's only 5 mins from our place to drive or 10mins to walk across the busy street to get there!!
Glad when my hubby is home next weekend, he is trucking about 12 hrs from here today on a very busy two lane traffic highway, one of the worst here in Albert up to Fort McMurray, alot of very bad accidents and people in a hurry, they are starting to twin it bigger cause they have lost so many lives on that one!!

Ok day, BUT!
I witnessed a man abuse an older (80) women. They both were parked were parked in handicap parking spots. He was parked way over in the stripped zone they make for wheel chairs, etc. she brought her cart to her door and barely bumped his fender. No scratch or harm. He yelled at this poor lady for over 10 minutes. He scared me, my daughter and grandson. She swung at the women, luckily his wimpy wife was in the way. A young man came by and to,chime to leave her alone. He continued to yell at him and her every word in the book. I guess the wife is use to this. The lady got in to car shacking and mans wife to the astonished of the crowed says " some people have no regard to personal properly".
I believe she is battered.
It made me sick and I am so proud of the young man.
Still on my mind.
