Morning my lovely hens,
We woke to 32 degrees this morning and frost. I'm glad I covered my tomato plants.
Does anyone else have stuff planted yet?
I woke with a lot of pain this morning. Wishing I hadn't agreed to keep so many kids this weekend.
I'm so weary of pain. I know many of us are. I keep hoping when the weather gets warm and stays that way we will feel better.
If I can get my pain under control I want to go to a store called wee care. It's like a goodwill. I have been wanting to go for a long time. Dh has offered to stay with the boys while I go. Not really looking for anything.....this is my rare shopping spree. It's like a treasure hunt for bargains.:)
One of the kids knocked the chick lamp over into the Ben with the chicks last night. Two of them got way too hot. Thought we were going to lose them for a while. They were laying on their sides breathing heavy. I picked them up and blew under their wings for a while to cool them off. This morning they are up....not as perky as the rest but maybe they will make it. I was so mad when this happened. I don't know how someone did not know they knocked that lamp over!!
Well I have bored you all enough.

It's going to get hotter here with Thursday being the hottest. It's noon and 75f feels more like 80 or more.I've been cleaning up the deck in this morning and cleaning the windows outside. Then I cut up a pallet in half, I've decided to call it quits now because I went a bit light headed. Joanne, some drugs we take have an effect on us in the heat, I know a couple of mine do, maybe yours...
It rained all night. How do I know, you ask? Guess I don't have to tell you. My pain level is low, but I already feel like taking a nap and my first client isn't even here, yet. More coffee....
I have nothing else planned...not a darned thing. My Mother wants to go to our tiny mall a few miles down the road so if I can rally, I'll take her there this afternoon. I suppose that is a plan...but it wasn't my idea so it doesn't count!

We had frost too, but its been such a beautiful day! Ive been out in the sunshine all day (shade is chilly)
We went into town this morning and went round the charity shops (thrift shops)
This afternoon ive been pottering about in the garden.
Yes i have been planting a few bulbs and flowers and i have taken a chance and put them outside. We have a green house dixie, my dad grows tomatoes, i dont believe he's put them out just yet.
New pc is ordered, dreading setting it up! I hope it will be easy with not too many complications.
I agree i hate loosing all my favorite bookmarks of sites i like.
We do have a separate hard drive which we keep copies of photos and anything important, so if pc does go wrong at anytime all is not lost.
I had my check up and she said "Oh thats healed nicely!" Good old sudocrem ! I told her i was having trouble getting my IBS under control, she said not too worry, it will settle down.

Today is going to be baking a cake for my granddaughter's 25th birthday surprise party. I have had this recipe for years and it is her favorite chocolate cake. Love baking.
Going to try and relax for while in the sun with my tiny dogs and tinier kitty. Oh, we won't be outside, just in the streaming sun through the windows.
Hoping and praying everyone finds some contentment.

Cherry I hope you feel like getting out with your mom and are able to enjoy it. I went to the thrift store but quickly came home...just too much pain today.
Empathy let me know about the soap.....sent you a hug on it. I need to get an external hard drive. I lost a lot of pictures on my old computer. I keep saying I am going to take it in and get someone to retrieve them for me and just afraid of what it will cost me.

I spent the day hopping around 3 local ponds with my boy, we caught a total of 25 fish and he wore me slap out...but it was a good day with no hurrying, just hanging out, getting stinky and slimy and fishy! Hope you guys are having a good weekend and getting some rest!!
