Working today on inventory. I was pretty steamed yesterday when they lowered to bar from recounting everything at $1,000 to $500. In this business that is absurd. They announce that on the last day, and of course the one that sets that limit is not responsible for doing this work or has any idea of the impact. I made my "thoughts" known and my boss is coming in today to be my re-counter later today just so he can see how crazy that number is. Accountants.....sheesh.

It's going to be a long weekend for me and my head is hurting bad. But at least I am alone without the constant interruptions. This place smells like natural gas this morning which is strange because we don't use natural gas so I have to find management's number and get them to check out the neighbours.

Well, if I blow up, it will be fast. Hugs buddies.

enigma, i feel for you. inventory is dreadful enough without added, needless work. glad your boss is coming to back you up. weird about that smell. hope it doesn't hurt your head more.

i had a little energy yesterday and went through a bunch of paperwork i now need to shred somehow. so far, my biggest accomplishment was sleeping well and get the spec of rice dislodged from my phone that was blocking my earbud connection. it was killing my back to hold the phone up. yay!!

i made of list of about 20 things and did 2 of them, so i'll plug away at those...it seems the less pain i'm in, the more i see to do...pacing though. i'm getting used to being the tortoise.

Wow, all of you hens seem pretty busy today!

Dixie: Congrats on your anniversary! How many years? My hubby and I celebrate 20 yrs of when we first met on February 13th. I cannot believe it has been that long. He is my soul mate though and I am so grateful that God brought us together.

Well, the visit with my Mother & Stepfather (Tom) went "smooooth as silk". We were prepared for the worst, however, we had a very nice, CALM & PEACEFUL visit. They had a ton of food and other than eating and having some coffee, we just sat around and talked. When we were leaving, my Mother hugged and kissed me, told me that she loved me and whispered in my ear "this was really nice". I am hoping that since we got off to a good start, things will go smoothly here on out. One can hope anyway. lol

I am just laying around doing a bunch of nothing. I did manage to make Chicken Fettuccini with broccoli and just had that for lunch. Very yummy! We got a ton of snow through the night so my kids are getting ready to go play in it. Wish I could go out with them, however, one of them needs to borrow MY snow boots, so that shoots that idea! lol

Snow was pretty today but still not enough. Just a small covering on the ground and it will probably be gone by night time.

Dixie hope you make your date. I bet you might feel better if you can get out. Our weatherman can miss things once in awhile. They sure called our ice/snow though.

Has anyone heard of thundersnow? It exists and we had it. Thunder and lightening while it was snowing and sleeting. A lot of our state is without power still.

Enigma sounds like your job is always full of the unexpected. Hope by now your are at home with an ice pack.

Empathy I hope you get some sunshine. Rain is so dreary.

Serenity I believe in baby steps. Someday that is what it takes . Before we replaced our broken shredder I used scissors.
