Morning Hens,
Still raining here, we are thoroughly soaked!! By the time this dries up my yard will be a jungle again.
Went to some yard sales yesterday. Got some books. A couple of storage containers, some soft artist pastels and a box full of magazines for crafting of course:) Jacob bought a guitar. That was a waste of money. He has had them before and doesn't stick with it. But, was his money. Was so nice to be able to go. Now that I have a GPS. Best thing my dh has ever bought me!!
Then we stopped at Walmart and they had an expo going on so we got a lot of free stuff. And I went inside and bought a loom....came home and made a cute baby hat:) I could sit and make them constantly! Unfortunately I don't have anyone to give them to. Will make a couple more and list them online and see if I can sell them. If they sell I can make some more....so fun! But my luck they won't sell.
I may try to make some linen sprays today. Lavender and lemon verbena if I have those scents. I know I have lavender.
David went rafting yesterday. Something I have been wanting to take the kids to do for a long time. So glad he got to do it. His staff sergeant took him. I'm tempted to take Jacob this summer. My dh is pitching a fit, says I can't handle it. I know he is right but I am desperate for Jacob to go and I would love to do it again:) maybe if I took enough pain pills.....LOL. Actually maybe I could talk my brother into taking him.

i used to do a lot of white water rafting on some great rapids. i wish you could go. i wish i could, too. i think if i had the chance i'd go and pay later. i hope you can working it out for jacob to go.
are linen sprays something you put in your linen closet? that sounds like a great combo.
i got a few things done around here yesterday, but my neighbor was out, so i couldn't do a lot of the things alone. did a little cooking and puttering around and will do more today. had a nice visit with claire, my neighbor, when she got home. watched a great movie and shared dinner...

What would i like to do this summer if i could?....I miss Devon, i would love to go to Devon for the summer and i'd swim in the sea and go rock pooling and just visit all my favorite places in Devon.
