i'm anti chemical as much as i can be. i use baking soda and vinegar for almost everything. there's also a good cleaner called mean green that's organic that's good on tough, greasy jobs. i use peroxide on the toilet bowl. murphy's oil soap is good for floors and furniture.

i buy the spray bottles from the $ store for little jobs. hope this helps.

I use Murphy's Oil Soap on wood too, and Clorox Cleanup on other surfaces to kill germs.

I have one I order online. Ir is very concentrated. You dilute it down. The scent is lavender. It is natural. I am told you could drink tI. I wouldn't some how lavender doesn't sound like it would be good going down.
It cleans anything from sinks,bathrooms, windows, whitewallls. We even use it in our carpet cleaner.
When we order we recieve a coupe spray bottles so we can dilute it down, when used at a stronger strength it takes stains out of clothes and even carpet. Sometime I even spray as a room freshner.

You gotta like lavender though because it is the only scent it comes in, I believe it is Advantage products.

I use a lot of baking soda and vinegar as well. Bee and wasp stings you make a paste and put it on and it takes out the sting. Vinegar and baking soda will clear a drain. A fabric softener sheet put on top of a crusty mess in a pain or baking dish and left overnight and voila no scrubbing.

I definitely like the all natural. It saves $$$ too. No clutter and more $$ in your pocket.

I don't think Murphy's oil on wood can be replace Sis. It is the best!

I loved it when Windex came out with a cleaner that would do glass and wood for dusting. Brilliant.

Murphy's Oil soap is always so great on wood floors.

But this is the one I find funny...............maybe disturbing more than funny. I am cleaning my mouth with peroxide at times but always with baking soda added to the tooth paste at night. And am I really cleaning my toilet's with the same thing that goes in my mouth?? :-(

I like to use a bit of soap and HOT water to clean with. Any grease cutting soap that is handy (even yours, Dixie). For real tough stuff I go to Dutch Cleanser with grit.

I'm a spot cleaner, so the sinks and counter I do often, on the spot with what I have infront of me.(soap & hot water) The shower, I do while I'm showering so nothing builds up. (I have a squeegie and spray cleaner in shower). The toilets I wipe down with windex on the outside and a brush on the inside (biweekly as I have sons). The wood floors I use swifter. I just bought one of those little round vacuums that go by themselves. LOVE IT! I bought the cheaper one than the Roomba, but I still love it.

OH YEAH! I love those Mr Clean Erasers!!!!! No Names are just as good. Finger prints, banisters, cupboards, stoves, grease. Sheesh, I walk around and just rub out whatever bugs me.

I have to try that fabric softener for the crusty pan. I put fabric softener sheet at the bottom of my garbage can, under the bag and change that every month.

My friend sent me some information that claims one should only use peroxide to disinfect. She claims hospitals and doctor's offices only use diluted peroxide that is why you do not smell the odor of bleach. Clorox and bleach are very poisonous. I use vinegar and water and a bit of detergent to clean windows and mirrors. Also many dollar stores have a natural orange product that really does a good job on kitchen counters and stove tops.
