So what is the grand plan for the week?
This is my dh's last week of chemo and radiation. I think it is going to be the hardest. They have realigned the radiation to pinpoint the tumor only. The dr. Said it would probably get very raw and sore. I feel so bad for him.
Going to work in my craft room today. I have decided to make my MIL a photo album for Christmas and I am going to decorate a box for each of my boys for Christmas so they will have something to put stuff in that they want to keep. I ordered Dave a pair of army pants he wanted and Jacob a pair of ear phones he wanted....that will probably be it for their Christmas. But it's done....and I feel relieved that I got their Christmas before we completely run out of money! Just couldn't stand the thoughts of not getting them Christmas presents. My mom...I had started her a bag of craft supplies a while back, so I will add a couple of things from my stash and call it good.
So my Christmas shopping is done! How are ya'll doing? Started? Done? Who's the hardest person on your list to buy for? Mine is my dh but we are not buying each other anything this year so I'm kinda glad lol.
I bought a ham...got turkey free, so I will be doing thanksgiving dinner...if dh feels up to it, since we will not be having Christmas. Worried I'll be able to do it but will have mom bring a dish and SIL bring a dish and that will help a lot.

i've bought a few things here and there and have some crafts to do for a couple of family. i have this big calligraphy project that i didn't tough last week bc of my awful stomach, so i've worked on it a bit this morning.
everyone in my family (except dad, but he's in a nursing home) is pretty hard to buy for. they have everything, so i have to think hard. the holidays make me pretty anxious. i was out of town for so many years, so i didn't feel as pressured, just mailed packages.
hope you enjoy the day in your craft room. best wishes for a low pain day for all who stop in. i know rough times have been high for so many.
i'm feeling much better and just going to play catch up today...yet again.
After four hours and wires and blood it was a not her panic attack. Funny they ask why I had one at that time ( in car on the way to target). I don't know or have I ever had a ryme or reason for them. Stress, mom, kids money, move, remodel could do it.
Expensive, but now I know my heart if is fine, enzymes, EKG and all that. I guess that is why I had a strong happy weekend.
Son called Sunday morning to get my baby back rib recipe. I gave him step by step and all said the were delis.
Just have to get him to serve sides when he entertains, haha. Talked to his friend and said how good the ribs were, but good thing he brought beans and corn, boys!
Praying for your husband Kim. It'll be a tough week, but praying it works the way you need it too.
Thanksgiving here is just BIL and SIl. That ok with me as since I married into this family all have been too big. A glass of wine food and I am done. They go on for ever!
No pre shopping for me, except we found a tour bike for daughter. This guy use to have a bike tour business in Hawaii, but closed doors. We got her a really good bike 26 gears, great shape for 75$.
The others who knows!
Off to moms for early thanksgiving Friday. We hate to go over the pass in snowy or iffy weather.
So, getting a full body ck, makes me relaxe how weird.

Its knowing what to get isn't it. If i knew exactly what to get each individual i'd go out with a list and buy the whole lot in one day or order it online!
I find the men the hardest, my dad...no idea what to get him.....

Dh has written me out a list and even put pictures so i know what i'm looking for on Amazon!
He's buying me a camera : )
Mum is easy, there is always some music CD she's after.
I dont buy for all family members, we came to agreements that we wouldnt buy for each other, its expensive and a headache.
seren, I get IBS also, so i sympathize, ive learned pretty much what foods to avoid like onions unless i cook them to death, otherwise they give me terrible wind lol.

Dixie, i hope you made some progress on finishing some crafting. you're so creative.
today was actually my best day in a week. i actually got things done bit by bit and two little walks. i worked on the calligraphy project, but without a decent place to spread out i think i'll have to go to the library to work. dixie, i'm sorta freaking out about this, but i will post photos eventually. own worst critic thing.
