Hippy so sorry your in so much pain, wish I could take it away. Big hugs and much love.
Carly men! Just have to shake my head...they do get wild hairs some times don't they?!
Well my SIL is out of the hospital. My brother was telling me how nice everyone is in WY. He said the nurse pushed My SIL all the way across the street to the hotel and up to the room because he couldn't. ( his shoulder was hurt and he only has one arm) so nice of her. But then he calls me back later.....they went down to the hotel resturaunt to eat supper. The whole town knows about the wreck because they are get free onions. That's what my brother and his wife were carrying. He said a guy walked over to his table and layed down a $50 bill. And then another guy walked over and layed down a 20. He tried to get them to take it back but they wouldn't. How super sweet is that!!! Very helpful too as my brothers hotel room is costing him $110.00 a night. Of course he has been out much more too. I have been unable to help him because of my financial situation, his boss has not even offered to give him an advance if he needed it to eat or stay in a hotel. No one has offered help. So this was ....what can I say....an angel in disguise blessing.
Just thought you guys might like that story. There are a lot of sweet people in the world. Also there was a woman who worked in the hotel who happened to cut hair who offered to fix SIL's hair as best she could after they got all the blood out of it. It was such a mess and the hospital just butchered it of course.
My brother said people have been so nice it just makes you want to move out there lol
Carly they are 2000 miles from home. Drove a van type tractor trailer truck as team drivers. They were hauling a load of onions.
Yeah! Kids are back in school today! I have an errand to run today. The Bachelor comes on tonight.....last show I think. Anyone else watch it? Probably not...awful show....I watch it for the drama lol. Makes my mom so mad...too funny! I even think it's funny....my dh will sit here and fuss about the characters lol.

It's going to get hotter here with Thursday being the hottest. It's noon and 75f feels more like 80 or more.I've been cleaning up the deck in this morning and cleaning the windows outside. Then I cut up a pallet in half, I've decided to call it quits now because I went a bit light headed. Joanne, some drugs we take have an effect on us in the heat, I know a couple of mine do, maybe yours...
i love that story! the kindness of strangers is amazing and uplifting. i bet that trooper will be so honored by your card. i agree it's so important to show gratitude esp when someone goes so above and beyond.
hippy, i think that system will be here midweek. thunderstorms and a 30 degree drop. i'm sorry it's affecting you so badly. i hope things ease up for you soon.

i tried to rally yesterday and just couldn't. awful stomach cramps, waking too early, and pain. at least i got a chance to talk to a good friend in ny which took my mind off things. and a brief walk in the warm weather. sometimes it seems like every other day is a do over. i don't feel much perkier today, but i'll put one foot in front of the other as much as i can. always more to do than i can manage. i'm just in a glass half empty frame of mind. things will get better.

Kim so your boys had their spring break early, just kidding. In Arkansas I think they are excusing days missed passed 10 on snow days. Heartwarming to hear how some are helping brother and SIL. So the town is getting onions. Long ago Harry Chapin wrote a song about Bananas. No one injured just a cute song about 30,000 pounds of bananas spilled on the road. Back to serious I can't think brother will be able to drive home with shoulder and hope someone from company will get them.
Serenity as you can see my glass is on half empty. Yes we will get system on Wednesday only so far just possible rain and twenty degree drop. Today we are a twenty degree rise from yesterday and for some crazy reason any increase or decrease in pressure gives me pain. We were 48 yesterday high and will be 70 today.
Love 70. I love your new hair do by neighbor. So nice and sassy. Whatever you do today I hope some water is added to the glass. I am determined to add some to mine.
Today is my annual physical. It was canceled in January due to weather. The nurse mailed my labs so I know they are good. No problem there. I have lost 5lbs so that should be good. Pain meds I am anxious on as my doctor of 17 years is uncomfortable managing pain. I will not ask for increase. I see a pain management doctor but it is on referral from my spine doctor for nerve blocks and recently the RFA.
Yesterday I cleared a little more clutter and roasted a chicken. Didn't have fresh vegetables to roast so we had southern style dinner with dressing and homemade biscuits. Gotta have a little Crisco(lard) in your diet once in awhile.

I don't have much to chat about today as I just got back home from 4 injections by where the one disk is gone another bulging.
I got in early which was a good thing.. they gave me a relaxation med through IV but did not really help anything.
After procedure my Mom took me home and now rest.. Curt took me in but could not stay because of issues today at the office.

Hippy, thanks for telling me about Saturday's post and what type of truck Kim's brother and SIL drove. I can't believe I missed that. I read the whole post! I must have had a senior moment. :-(

Kim, it's so good to hear your SIL is out of the hospital. The kindness of all those wonderful people brought tears to my eyes. I hope they make it home ok. Have they decided how they are going to get home? I can't believe that his boss is not offering any help. What a jerk! 2000 miles is a long way from home.
I don't watch the Bachelor anymore because it takes sooooo long for anything to happen. They just keep going to commercial. Maybe it's different now, I don't know. But there are obviously a lot of people who enjoy it. :-}
Seren, so sorry for your stomach cramps. Hope you are feeling better today. It's always nice to have a walk in the warm weather and a visit with a good friend is always great.
Cindi, hope you got some much needed rest and the injections start to help sooner than later.
Well, it looks like I won't see the kiddoe's at the ranch as the fence guys will be there for another 2 days and the DH (D not standing for Dear right now) won't be driving to get me. As much as I would love to see them, it's not really that big of a deal for me. We only live an hour away and I see them often. Like I said before........it's the PRINCIPLE!! Sometimes we can't live with them, can't live without them and yet we are still not allowed to shoot them. :-}
