Morning Hens,
Taking son to school this morning. His first day back to reg. school:) then I don't know what I will do with the rest of my day. I'm all caught up with my art projects.
What are you girls up to today?
Cindi are you feeling any better today?
Hugs to all

89FToday it is again another hot day but cooler then yesterday. Since this is August it is to be expected in my neck of the woods. All the grass is yellow and flowers are starting to go to seed. I need to water my garden but this time of the year I'm so over it, which is weird because all my plants have their fruit or veggies.Sandra, this time of year reminds me of your Dad and his toms. We'd...

i have a big hankering to craft, but i must get my apt in order first. i made a good dent over the weekend. it finally doesn't look like a tornado hit, but still plenty to do. just after dinner last night the maintenance man showed up at my door to check my kitchen plumbing. it's leaking into the hallway and in the downstairs apt. they'll be back today to repair it. this building is on it's last leg i'm afraid. then it's out for cat food and litter.
wishing a good day for all our hens!
Kim, my best wishes to your son during his school day!
Serenity, It sure will be wonderful when this is all over…enough already!!
Thank you so much for your support about my doc report.
I still do not think that I should have posted it but I truly trust all of you!
I had a hard time getting up today but things are getting a little better now so hopefully I can get some things done around the house.
Have a great day everyone no matter what you do or don't do!!

Dix, Fingers crossed school goes well : )
Seren, I was just wondering if moving apartments was an option? Hoping the end of it all is in view somewhere.
Cindy, put your feet up and relax at some point, thats where ive gone wrong today!
Me.. i started cleaning at 10:30 and finished at 2:50! It wouldn't have taken that long but my son left his bedroom to go out, a very rare thing these days! So i went in there and took the chance to have a good clean! yucky yuck yuck!
Dix there's a couple of adverts that we have at the moment and every time they come on i think of you and your animals.

Hippy i'd love you to be my mum, ive not had one of those since i was about 13, she's been here physically but not emotionally and certainly would never think to bring me a hot water bottle : )
Hugs hens and hugs to those who seem to be absent at the moment, you might be out of view, but not out of mind.
cindi, i'm glad you shared all that you're going through. it pays to be open in this safe environment. i feel very vulnerable too when i pour out my heart, but i'm always so encouraged when i do. i hate making that laundry list, too. that can be very discouraging. you're such a trooper for doing all you do and dealing with so much pain at the same time. bless you!
sorry about the haircut/style. hopefully it will calm down and you'll be able to work with it. i got a horrible perm before my senior picture. i looked like rosanne rosannah danna.
empathy, kudos for getting all that cleaning. it's so hard to find affordable housing here and most places aren't on the busline, so i'm hoping to stick this out. i do look though. those ads are so cute. thanks for the smile!
Serenity good news on progress made in your apartment. Being on bus line is a major plus. It also sounds like the management is stepping up to take care of maintenance on the building. I remember you mentioning a park across from you and I have seen your views which are awesome. Bet you have it all put togeather before spring. That big ole dogwood tree will be blooming before you know it.
Empathy your mention of son's room took me back some years. After age 14 I never entered. I did a weekly call for them to load their dishes in dishwasher and do their laundry. They didn't eat in their room but I was always short on drinking glasses. Somehow their clothes had trouble finding their way to the laundry. Boys are so much fun. I am sorry about mum. My mom had six children and I was the oldest. I mothered my brothers and sisters. I left home when I was sixteen so I know the longing for a mom. By my forties I had a better relationship with my mom but we never lived close in distance.
Cindi am hoping your day has moved along. I am getting the RFA tomorrow for my neck.
Empathy loved the adverts. My favorite was the kittens.
Love to all. Angela I am thinking of you.
