I just want to say how much I enjoy it when you girls check in. I enjoy reading the tidbits about your day. I may not always respond but it's so nice hearing from you and hearing bits about your day and I am not only speaking for myself, there are others who either don't have time or don't feel like it due to pain....unable to respond to each of you , but still enjoy it so much being able to come in and read about your day. So thank you for taking the time to drop in:) even when it's just a check in:) as JC sometimes does:) it is appreciated!! I appreciate and love everyone of you girls!
Back to Monday:). ......I have to go to the library today to return some books and may pick up another one. Hoping I feel like cleaning on this house today. It sure needs it and now that dh is gone I can do it!

i enjoy the check-ins, too. it's good to hear how our hens are weathering the days or just to say hi. hope you find something good at the library.
one maintenance guy just came up to check on things, but had no idea what's going on in terms of replacing the floor. i still have so much to transfer, but my path is too narrow to scoot some boxes, so i can work from the sofa on my heating pad. it's overwhelming! baby steps and trying not be a perfectionist. wish i could hire a body!
I agree Kim that it sure is wonderful to check in and hear how all of our dear hens are doing.
Good luck with your cleaning plans and hopefully you picked up a good book to enjoy!
Serenity, It is so sad to hear what you are going through with all of the damage in your home.
Hopefully with the new year coming.. new plans will come with getting everything cleaned up and back to normal.
I had a pretty good weekend for the most part and spent a lot of time with DH and some good friends yesterday watching the GB Packers win and go on to the playoffs!
I did get some very intense pain under my left shoulder blade Sat night into yesterday morning and my hubby thought that he should have taken me to the ER but we all know what kind of idea that is…. So I took meds, rested on heating pad and it got much better by noon yesterday. Glad that passed!!!!!

3 cheers for good old fashioned books! You can keep your kindle, i like books, the smell and the feel of the page. Its nice to know you use your library!
Seren, i cant believe your still living in those conditions, i dont know what to say, i'm lost for words.
We had a wet morning, a brief show of sun in the afternoon, then the clouds came over again. Dont know whether youve seen it on your news, but parts of England have been flooded/high winds and pple have been without power since christmas.
Weve lost parts of our fence both sides and the garden keeps getting flooded, but i know i'm lucky thats all ive got to wine about.
Ive cleaned up today and done a bit more in the attic and also been on the pc. Ive got so many files on the pc, with saved bits here and there i want to organize it all.
