Beginning Jan. first, take a large mason jar and set a pad of scrap paper beside it. Every time something good happens through out the year write it down and put it in the jar. On Dec. 25th or dec.31st open it and read all the good things that happened through the year.

I'm going to do this in my house for everyone and just have them initial their piece of paper so we know who wrote it. I think it will be fun to read them at Christmas.:)

Shop around at the thrift stores for that perfect big cookie jar, or big pretty vase once the mason jar is full.

What a WONDERFUL idea! I am going to discuss this with my kids and see what they think. I do think it is something that they will go for. I am always teaching them to be positive and to be appreciative of the things they have so to reflect upon all the good things that happened during the year would be awesome.

    It's going to get hotter here with Thursday being the hottest. It's noon and 75f feels more like 80 or more.I've been cleaning up the deck in this morning and cleaning the windows outside. Then I cut up a  pallet in half, I've decided to call it quits now because I went a bit light headed. Joanne, some drugs we take have an effect on us in the heat, I know a couple of mine do, maybe yours...
