How is everyone this morning? I realize that with the different time zones it might be a while before all the hens are clucking.
I barely slept at all last night...can't do it two nights in a row. This time, worry kept me awake. My Dad suffers from Dementia and has shown a rapid decline in the past week. He's become beligerant and is doing dangerous things. He has to be watched like a toddler and Mom just can't handle it herself. My Sister and I are going to see if his doctor will make time to see the two of us today so we can explain what's happening. If my sister hadn't been at their house last evening, he might have burned it down.
I see my shrink this morning and have the rescheduled appt. with my Rheumatologist this afternoon. I'm hoping she will have some answers for me.
I'm really going to need a rest period some time today, but I don't see how I can fit it in. My body is already in trouble from being up most of the night.

It's really sad about your dad. Heartbreaking for you I am sure.
I'm mad at my whole bunch this morning. For my dh who thinks he can tell me what to do, one son got kicked off the bus for running that mouth of his and the other one needs me to bring him a belt to school because he was too busy playing around this morning instead of getting ready for school! They think gas is free!
My day is not starting out well.

It's a pretty day here. It's going to rain this evening, but for now I have the windows open and the sun shining in. I picked fresh flowers this morning and put them in my pretty vases around the house. This makes me happy. Just doing some sewing today. Repairing a few things so they last longer.

I wish we could all set the time on DS to what it actually is for each of us, i might add the time to each post just as a protest lol!
Cherry. that is a very difficult situation and a huge worry. My parents are 81 and 83, age wise they do very well, my mum can be a bit ditzy and my dad repeats stuff, they can be a little forgetful, but its normal forgetfulness, if that makes sense.

Dixie, kids are so lucky these days with what parents do for their kids, i bet your parents never went to the school for you with stuff you forgot, i know mine didnt, if i forgot something it was "too bad!" and pay the consequences! Detention! Do you think we are too soft on kids....Or just better parents!
Solace, there's nothing like freshly cut flowers in the house : )
Well me, ive walked into the village and picked up a few items i needed, i changed the bed and ive made fish pie for tea tonight.

I ran out of sleep medication a day early - don't ask me why. Even with it, my sleep is so poor. Without it, there is little hope for any, given the pain. I hope you are all having a better day than I am...

Kim- take the kid a piece of rope to do his britches up with, a little embarrasment amongst peers goes a long way in making sure he gets his act together next time. My oldest had a mouth, OMG that boy always had to have the last flippen word...until we started charging him a nickel, then a dime, then a quarter...well you get the idea....as for the DH, well you already know my shotgun theory, but then he couldn't help plant.

I love fresh cut flowers, but if I put them in the house right now the pollen would kill me, dead!
