2 of my kids are going away with their partners for the weekend to a country lodge and i have the grandaughters but i do love having them they keep me on my toes. We have a snow blizzard here for the next 2 days we all got together earlier today and had a huge snow ball fight. Other than that nothing else is going on for me..

hi dixie, thanks for the reminder about MLK day. glad i did my banking this week. the storm that came through here wasn't as bad as they thought it would be, so i will go out to meet my mother to visit my dad and do a little shopping. hope all goes well.

I have a doc appt. today and I need to run some errands. I almost twisted my back up changing the litterbox. Narrow escape!

I think its going to be a boring weekend for me. Snow has been falling all day.

Good morning...

Had another night of being up more than in my bed. I'm really dragging because of it. I have to give a couple men's haircuts at noon and 1:00. I've made a coffeecake, done a load of laundry and mopped the kitchen floor.

I've been having a terrible time with my right elbow for a couple weeks. Same side as the neck, shoulder and back pain...go figure. My PT thinks it's Arthritis and also compensating for my torn rotator cuff. Whatever it is, it hurts like hell to bend, lift, twist...anything that involves that arm. Cutting hair is a challenge, for sure. The biggest challenge is not letting it show how much work hurts.

So sorry about the pain today, Cherry. God, I know how tough it is to fake it. Today, I don't have to fake anything and it feels good. I have my silly looking ice hat on for a few hours before I go out to IKEA.

I am starting to feel better. Husband is also. We both are taking it slow.
I have no plans other than reading and television. I have been able to
keep the house up and did some cooking yesterday.
