morning dixie, i have to run few errands downtown (my a key is not working well, so forgive missing a's)

from one end of the min street to the other. more than i have energy for, but need to. then the soaking pots from dinner...my mohter and i had plnned to visit my dd in rehab tody, but he's still drugged up in the hospital...no word from her yet.

I felt horrible all last evening, finally vomited after my stomach being on shut down for hours. Then at midnight I was awake for the day. It was a long night and I'm feeling so horrible. I am congested, have a headache from hell and a very stiff neck.

Cancelled the client I had coming for a color and then got an appt. at my clinic for later this afternoon. I'm having dizzy spells so I might let someone in my family drive...we'll see. The good part is that my doc isn't in on Fridays so I'll be seeing someone else. I'm not sure if it's PA or a NP. Either is fine with me.

I'll tell you about the recent stressor that made my morning worse after I've rested a while. I feel so awful...waaaaaa. Ok...done whining.

cherry, sorry you had such a rough night. i'd totally skipped over a major stressor from yesterday as if there's a spec of room on my plate. a friend in nyc took an OD yesterday. another friend, who lives just outside the city, had just visited her and saw she was in a depression. she posted a weird post on FB yesterday, so friend J called asking for exact address of friend E and called 911. they had no ambulances so the police took her to the hospital. when i was awake during the night, chatted with J. E was home and MAD. i can't believe i'm 1600 miles away and still the go to person to take care of her.
sorry for the hijack, but please, i need a break!!!

Its just gone 4:32pm here so my day is coming to a close.

Ive done my weekly shop, and i went to get a new TV for my son, who has just received his first well earned wages! Thought he'd treat himself : ) A nice thing to look back on in many years to come.
Can you remember what you spent your first wages on? I cant, i think it was clothes, my hubby bought a stereo.
I made some lovely chocolate cupcakes this afternoon and now i'm off to make pizza for tea, Friday is pizza day : )

Sounds like there have been challenges today.Cherry I hope your visit to the clinic will help what seems to be some sort of bug. Wish I had know you we're up at midnight. I didn't get to sleep until 2:30 AM. We could have texted.

Serenity how scary to almost loose a friend. Not what needs to be added to your plate right now with what is going on with your dad. I am praying for you and your sister. I can't imagine how you do it when there are so many walls up with your mom. My brother-in-law had a plate put in after a snow mobile accident. He was late 50's and recovered nicely. I bet your dad spends one more day at the hospital before he moves to rehab.
Rest up my friend and let your worries go for awhile. You can pick them back up on Saturday this time.

Dixie I saw a picture of Molly and she is adorable. I am so sorry she has parvo. Sad when people don't vet their pets and also when they boot them out. I hope she makes it. J is a good person to go the distance with her.

Empathy sound you had a busy day. Friday used to be pizza day at our home when our sons were here.
Speaking of sons ..bravo for him on his first purchase. I know for certain I took my first earnings and bought clothes for school.

I am dragging. Had injection in my shoulder yesterday. So far it is not working. Still holding out hope though.
My accomplishments have been few. Cooked a pot of beans and made cornbread. Sorted some clothes and cleaned one bathroom. Just this in a two day period.
