Morning Hens,
Serenity I'm so glad your arm is better. That salon pas must be good stuff. I'll have to remember it.
Hippy I see it already...you are going to need a vacation from summer by the time summer is over. Looks like I'm not going to get to go to WA this year. Not going to be enough time before kids start back to school. Maybe I can jump in the car one day and me a friend half way one day instead:)
Muskrat I envy you your garden lol..it sounds yummy:) I have a watermelon and am antelope in the fridge cooling. I will cut them today. Yum!
Carly sorry I misunderstood about your dad. I was really confused because I thought he had passed. And then I was feeling guilty for thinking that he had ...goodness I was confused!! Thanks for clearing that up!
My Dr. Apt. Went ok. I have coccydynia. Nothing in my case caused it. Although, thing back I remember taking a fall but I can't remember if it was before or after I started hurting. Anyway. It seems like mine just started hurting for no reason. He wanted to give me a shot but in such a tender area I chickened out. Chose therapy instead. Will do therapy for a while and see if that works, if it doesn't then I will have to bite the bullet and get the shot. It's just a matter of stopping the pain cycle.
Have to go to the post office today for stamps. Go by the Library for magazines.
What's on your agenda?
Hugs

88FIn 1969 we decided to get married without a big wedding. Most of our friends and family liked large over the top for the time kind of weddings and I did not. First, I didn't see why spending so much money for one day when we have the rest of our lives to live. I have never regretted not having a big formal wedding. Another issue is not liking all the attention. Also, we have gone to big...

It's going to get hotter here with Thursday being the hottest. It's noon and 75f feels more like 80 or more.I've been cleaning up the deck in this morning and cleaning the windows outside. Then I cut up a pallet in half, I've decided to call it quits now because I went a bit light headed. Joanne, some drugs we take have an effect on us in the heat, I know a couple of mine do, maybe yours...

hope you have a good day!
the salonpas are inexpensive - under $6 for 40 small ones. i did put a couple on my elbow last night and it was too intense maybe b/c there's no muscle/flesh to absorb it? but on my joints it's really helps.
my day is up in the air. just a few things here and there and try to stay cool.
wishing all a good day!
i love fridays : )
just wondering if i can find a salon pas for my back..might help on days i work.
Dix, glad you finally got a diagnosis and a treatment plan in place. i bet you get your physio before i get mine, our NHS is slow.
seren, enjoy your day whatever you do : )
Ive been to the supermarket and lugged home the shopping in the granny trolly with as much as i could. Dad still cant drive as yet, will certainly miss it when he has to pack it up all together.
Just put out a line of washing and its turned grey and cloudy so will have to keep an eye out for that.
Got some tidying to do..
hugs
I wondered who would catch the antelope in the freezer. Empathy bright girl.
Dix I wonder if you could take the prednisone pills instead of getting the shot? I agree on having a shot there.
They would have to put me out. Enjoy your melon fest. I am with everyone else on you knowing what it is at least.
Serenity hope you find some ways to stay cool.
Empathy I know you are happy because you have a five day break.
Carly I can sure see why you would not want to go to the dentist. After I left the oral surgeons office we went directly to the root canal specialist office bloody mouth and all. Receptionist said he wasn't there. Yeah right. I don't know if it was his fault or the dentist but I changed dentist and we love the one we have. Fortunately I have no problem with the dentist. I have my teeth cleaned three times a year and haven't had any work since 2009 when I had the tooth pulled. The dental hygienist is a sweetheart too. Awful accident to break your jaw and for it to go out you would not want mouth open. Two incidents in life that warrant lawsuits and I just rocked along. I figure in the end Karma and really when the error is done it is irreparable for me so let it come back to the one who made the error. No stress that way for me.
love and hugs to all the all the hens, even the ones who aren't clucking

A springtime favorite for me at grandma's house. Other favorites were fresh green peas creamed with tiny new potatoes. Then came strawberries!!!!! Strawberries and cream skimmed off the milk. They had a milk cow.
Glad your Doc visit went ok. But I have to admit that I don't know what coccydynia is. But if you had to take a shot in such a tender area....that does not sound good. I hope therapy works better.
Seren, I wish the Solanpas would work for you on your other joints as well. But isn't an elbow a joint? Sorry there was not enough muscle/flesh to support it. And thank you for saying that it was good to see me here. It's always good to see you as well.
Emp, wishing your Dad a long time before he has to pack it all up altogether. Wishing you a better sky for drying on the line. It has been raining here all week and I am so over it.
Sending much love and hugs to all my dear Hen's.
Sounds like a lawsuit waiting to happen but we didn't do that back then. Still waiting on Miss Karma!
My Grandparent's always had fresh butter and Milk. It gives me chills to think of that milk but I loved the butter...eventho it had a really bad smell, it was delicious. Sort of like Parmesan Cheese, it taste delicious but has a really bad smell. :-)
