If I am not working or passed out, I read a mystery book or watch a DVD on my computer. I don't have a regular TV.

I used to do lots of crafts. No energy anymore.

I putz around in my little garden, cutting away the dead and encouraging the new. Feed the pond fish. Walk the dogs. Make dinner for my 16 year old and then we talk about our day. If I'm not hurting too bad, I"ll work on a painting and later I'll have a shower and watch a bit of TV to unwind before early bed. Then my son and I play fight over who get the dogs for the night, or who gets which dog. I usually win and then he sneaks in and steals one or two while I'm sleeping.

After dinner if we are not running someone somewhere we try to take a walk after we clean up the kitchen. Sometimes the girls go in the pool and I rest for an hr or two. Then after showers are done we usually sit in the living room together and watch tv. I try to have us have family time starting with dinner and the rest of the evening.

by evening i'm usually pretty pooped - have my dinner, set up my coffee, take a walk through the community garden if i can, and do all the getting ready for bed things, slather myself in arthritis cream, take pills and vitamins, chat, play a video game, watch an old movie or pbs or history shows. snuggle in with penny and pray for sleep and all else...i used to love to read in the evening, but now both my eyes and brain have a hard time focusing...

While I'm cooking I usually get on the computer for fun and not work, well sometimes it's work but I don't get on DS at the office. I am always so late catching up with everyone because of that. I just watered the plants and thinking I need to water the garden but the mosquitoes are so bad I'm not feeling up to it.

I clean the kitchen and while that is going on I try and play a few games in my groups or reply to journals and messages. The TV is always on in the background with the news programs but most of the time I only hear half of it. Any program I really want to watch I record. :-) When I notice the time I say the same thing to myself every night...........I have got to start shutting down earlier! I have got to get up early in the morning - but I never listen.

Well, you all make me feel lazy that's for sure!! Just kidding, we each have our own limitations. I am usually napping late afternoon, so I am up about an hour before dinner and most of the time I am just watching tv for the first time of the day. I might get on here to check my email or chat with someone but that really is it. We don't really have "family" time unless my nephews are over, then we are watching a kids movie or some cartoon. I don't have the capacity to make dinner now or do really, well, much of anything, except sit and watch tv. I guess that's why I'm in PT, to try to be able to do more things. But my evenings are mostly spent unwinding from a long day of doc appts or what have you. I need more and more rest in the evenings as the days go by.

I make dinner, clean up dishes usually...thank God for the stool in the kitchen.

After dinner, I usually talk with my mom, play on my computer and fall asleep to the t.v----ID t.v cuase I'm a crime freak!

I am boring, predicatble and that is just ok with me!

i agree, ducky, my stool in the kitchen is such a lifesaver!
same here, being predictable isn't such a bad thing!!
