My dh told me this morning to make a list of what I needed at the grocery store and he would go
Get them for me. And I new he would because I'm in a flare and he does everything for me when I'm hurting. BUT... Since he is rushing around working on his truck and trying to get ready to leave I didn't want him to be bothered with doing something so time consuming for me. So after he left the house to go to the shop I got one of my boys up to help me and I went to the grocery.
Dh called me to ask me a question and found out I was in town. He got mad. So I'm at the check out at Walmart and here he comes storming through the doors. Took my keys, warmed my car up and helped son
Put groceries in car. ( he didn't know I had brought one of the boys to help me)
Darn it! When they do crazy caring stuff like that you have to forgive them for all the annoying and aggregating things they do! Darn! Lol:)
He really is TOO good to me.

88FIn 1969 we decided to get married without a big wedding. Most of our friends and family liked large over the top for the time kind of weddings and I did not. First, I didn't see why spending so much money for one day when we have the rest of our lives to live. I have never regretted not having a big formal wedding. Another issue is not liking all the attention. Also, we have gone to big...

It's going to get hotter here with Thursday being the hottest. It's noon and 75f feels more like 80 or more.I've been cleaning up the deck in this morning and cleaning the windows outside. Then I cut up a pallet in half, I've decided to call it quits now because I went a bit light headed. Joanne, some drugs we take have an effect on us in the heat, I know a couple of mine do, maybe yours...

Breaks my heart and makes me so mad when I hear stories of men (or women) who leave their spouses because of health conditions!!
Mine was a gem yesterday, waiting on me all day. Today back to realaty!
I think we're blessed
janiecf: how nice of your DH to wait on you all day. Hope you got to kick back and relax!
I am very lucky. My hubby does sooo much for me as he literally takes care of the entire household and runs himself ragged. My kids are awesome as well, always understanding of my situation. I guess that is because they have grown up with these conditions though. I am just so blessed that my kids adapted very well to the situation and do not resent me for the things I cannot do. I am very involved with their lives in every way possible though and have always raised THEM to be close to each other. In fact, just today, my daughter told me that her brother is her "best friend". That put a smile on my face and made me feel good that I had raised them to be close. I just hope they remain that way, always being there for each other.
I wish I had my health and didn't have to be in pain 24/7 and spend most of my life bed-ridden, however, despite all of that, I am VERY BLESSED to have a loving, supportive family. Don't know what I would do without them.
I too feel bad for anyone who has a spouse that is NOT understanding of what we go through. It is a world that they do not understand and I guarantee, a world that they do not want to experience first hand.
Lotsa Hugs,
Carrie
it can't be easy for them.
Too many spouses can not cope and too many people stay in sad situations.
Enjoy your blessing. May they be an example for more spouse to follow,

He does all the food shopping now day's but only because I don't know what to buy since he is eating way too picky with the health thing. But he always brings home something for me and always asks if I would like him to pick up or drive thru anywhere.
I have to say.........it's not because I am crazy for fast food...........it's because I cannot swallow food and I crave it. So he knows I just want to have it in my mouth. He is a dearheart and always bringing home food surprises.
Lucky ladies.
Muskrattiger, your DH sounds like a true gem. I don't want my DH in the kitchen.......he's like a helicopter...........hovering around. He doesn't know where anything is here. But he will not let me take control when we are at the ranch. I think I'm finally ok with that. I wish you relief from the horrible migrains!
i'm so happy for those of you who have understanding and loving men in your lives! i love hearing such stories!

P.S. Janie.......I hate having Hubby in my kitchen and "trying to cook". That is always a bad day. lol.
