The black friday video that Empathy posted on saturday really got to me.
It's not that I avoid conflict because I live in a big city and I'm in it all the time. We all have the crazy that jumps in your face and lips you off because your car happens to be in front of them, or you are doing your job and they can get away with being a knob.
But, my god, for a retailer to put his empoyees into such harms way and invite all these knobs into such a frenzied state for a few bucks is absolutely deplorable.
Ones actions and what you produce in this world is accountable and if you produce chaos because you beleive that is what you are supposed to be, well, you are just as big an idiot.
I like the no shopping day, but I doubt that will catch on because for some strange reason, so many people think they need that big box with an LCD and printed circuit boards in them. I make that stuff for a living and it's just junk. Money in, money out. Junk.
I know I'm preaching to the choir, but if it gets said, maybe the universe will catch it and carry it on the waves.

70F rain expectedThe rain is ok but not while I'm on my way to cardiology appointment. This is the quarterly EKG and lab work and just general check up on how the meds are working and I'm feeling. The meds have kept me out of A-fib and for that reason I want nothing changed, my cardiologist listens to what I have to say and for that I'm thankful. Pt went well yesterday and I'll do my excercises...
