Good late afternoon...I was referring to the end of today in my question. It just feels like it's been a particularly long day. I had lots of little things to do that added up to being a little too much.
Started with phone calls. My clinic was the first order of business. My doc only wrote my script for the Dilaudid for 2 weeks to see if I wanted to stay on it so I was told to call today and let them know about that and if I wanted to stay on the 50 mcg. patch. Also, my new Rheumatologist noticed things that my pcp should have so I needed referrals to a Dermatologist and the eye doc. I am tolerating the higher dose of the patch, afterall and I am getting some much needed relief while it's working...still takes many hours to kick in, but when it does...yay!
Then it was the Dentist. Last night I broke a big, old filling. I know it's going to need a crown.
I saw my shrink this morning and I almost didn't make it up the bazillion stairs to his office. I had just put my new patch on so the nerve pain in my leg was horrendous for most of the day. I couldn't even sit during our session.
I had given my tenant the 48 hour written notice that I'd be over at 3:00 for an inspection and to go over the new lease. The original lease was provided by the state housing dept. and I wanted to use my own! It's very Landlord friendly, written by my Brother who is an attorney. I was pointing out the differences in this lease and Darryl kept pouting and saying he'd just sign it. I told him I wanted to make sure he understood it first!
He's upset that I do not provide off street parking...tough shit, I never did for other tenants! I pointed out how his couch blocks the radiator and that, along with how many times his door was left open during the really cold weather, has cost me a lot extra in oil this year. He doesn't get it. Then...the stench from that couch came up. I told him that he had to either have it cleaned to eliminate the odor or get it off the premises.
I pointed out the many things that have been in violation of the lease. His Sister and Husband showed up last week and pounded like maniacs on his door. That was completely unnecessary and it was 9:00 at night, too. I told him I heard everything they said and it was all ragging on me instead of concern that he had fallen. He looked a bit guilty when I told him that I also heard them say they were going to take his key and make copies, but not tell me! Ha on them...it's the kind that can't be duplicated!
I think he's going to be looking for another place to live.
God...I'm exhausted! Sorry to have written a novel, but once I got started, I couldn't stop!
Now I want to hear about your day!
Hugs and clucks!

89FToday it is again another hot day but cooler then yesterday. Since this is August it is to be expected in my neck of the woods. All the grass is yellow and flowers are starting to go to seed. I need to water my garden but this time of the year I'm so over it, which is weird because all my plants have their fruit or veggies.Sandra, this time of year reminds me of your Dad and his toms. We'd...

i was very anxious today and having a hard time fighting it. i finally channeled some into cleaning, then rested a bit on the balcony taking in the beautiful weather. that was peaceful. will just camp out on the heating pad now and watch the voice.
hope all have some sweet dreams!
I've spent the day playing Barbie's, coloring and school. My granddaughter is so fun and sweet but definitely exhausting, lol. I'm sitting on my heating pad now. Aly is next to me on the couch. She fell asleep a few minutes ago. I better try to sleep too.
