Yellow lovely hens,
How is everyone? Me...not so good. I cleaned my moms oven 3 days ago and I have been in pain every since. I'm afraid if she gets that oven cleaned again she is going to have to pay someone to do it. I've just been baby sitting and sewing.
My dh is on the road. I did not go this time and we are still debating if it is the right thing to do. I know that it's not but when you may have limited time with someone here on this earth the right thing sometimes isn't the right thing after all. It's hard, really hard.
So looking forward to some pretty weather!! I'm ready to take my grand daughter fishing and have Bon fires in the back yard.
What do you look forward to with warm weather arriving?
Wishing everyone a beautiful day.
Hugs

89FToday it is again another hot day but cooler then yesterday. Since this is August it is to be expected in my neck of the woods. All the grass is yellow and flowers are starting to go to seed. I need to water my garden but this time of the year I'm so over it, which is weird because all my plants have their fruit or veggies.Sandra, this time of year reminds me of your Dad and his toms. I love bonfires, but living in a residential area you have to be respectful of those living around you, if we do have a bonfire its usually a late one and mostly in cold weather when pple dont have their windows open.
I must admit ive been annoyed before when ive got a line of washing out and someone is having a bonfire.
I hate cleaning the oven, that has to be the worst job.
Its hard to get the balance right isnt it, just go with your gut instinct, its usually the right thing to do. Make a decision to go on the road when the time comes depending on how you feel, dont set anything in concrete.
I just love getting out in the garden, funny thing is i find it really hard to just sit and relax, my other-half will grab a heap of magazines and sit there for ages, i would rather do something.
Dad has given me his little green house, i'm looking forward to having a go at growing stuff !
Dix you have fibro like my sister, she's having a needle in her neck today, the procedure carries risks but she thought it was worth it, she's been having really trouble with her neck.
hugs
Dixie your mama has a awesome daughter. I know she knows that. Pretty sure.
Bet that granddaughter will have fun fishing with maybe some support with uncle.
These little girls are so fun at this age. Everything an adventure and they will remember it.
In regards to doing a road with T. Here is what I think. Time is different for these little ones.
A few weeks are not big deal. F and I have traveled and our relationships never changed.
The children have remained so very close. At times we have sent them packages and called them .
Your son is a different story. We both had to travel for business and often at same time. Latter in life
J. Let me know he resented that. I know it is so hard and I hope when you need to be with T your son will
understand.
Empathy prayers for your sister. I have fibro and severe stenosis and other issues in my neck. I have had many needles and it got so bad I no longer do it. The pain far outweighs any relief I get. Regarding sitting in your garden I do believe you have "ants in your pants" . Just means it is difficult for you to sit still and do nothing.
So cool. The oldest GD has been taking pictures of the nest, eggs and now baby birds.
Love to all
