Carly don't you worry about writting a book...that's ok, we are interested in what you have to say! I hope you can get more anxiety meds as you def. need them! Even if you get a note from the therapist saying you need them, do whatever you need to do but you really need those to help you get through the difficult times.
So how do you like the therapist?
My Dr. Told me to stop breaking my sleeping meds in half, so I took a whole one last night. I expected to sleep like a baby but I didn't. Maybe tonight will be better. Dh is home and I am not use to him being in bed with me.
I have PT today, then I don't know what I will do. My mom thinks she is coming over to craft, I told her I didn't feel like it. If she comes I think she is going to find me rather rude. My brother is having surgery on his knee today, I am shocked she isn't going to Jackson to be there for that.

good luck with PT today. my dr told me if mine wasn't working to take a benadryl. i'm not giving advice here, just saying. i actually did that last night b/c i woke up at 12:30 after going to bed at 10. yuck. i guess that is an adjustment with dh being gone so much.
my sleep has been off the passed two nights, too. i was finishing a book yesterday morning and couldn't put it down, so i spaced on the check-in, but i've read all yesterday's posts. a publix just opened that's on my busline and i went to check it out and to get some things i can't get at the local grocery store downtown. it's very nice and a bit pricey, but it's great to be able to get the things i want to cook with.
not sure about today. pretty tired. spoke to my mother about possibly going to her house to help with packing, but i'd rather do it tomorrow. i'd like to rest today and maybe just color my hair. playing it by ear.

I think you should listen to your doc and stop breaking your sleep meds in half. Maybe you expected to much. I do that often. I thought as soon as I went for the first visit to the therapist I would come home and eat everything and swallow with ease. Hopefully your meds will help you sleep better.
Is there another room that you could go to for sleep. I know how it is when Dh is home? Mine is constantly moving and often ends up on the floor with the heating pad and some kind of back vibrator. He has a really bad back.
I hope your brother's surgery is a success. I hope your Mom takes the hint....sounds pretty plain to me. :-) Good luck at the PT.
Seren, I love reading a good book. Sometimes that's the best way to fall asleep, even if it's a good one. I think you are right about the Benadryl. My Dh takes one once in a while. That's about as strong a medication that he would take. Hope you got a lot of good things to cook. Hope you got some rest today and your hair turned out nice.
