I went with dh yesterday all day and for some reason it wore me out. We got home at 6:30 and I went to lay down because I was so sleepy and didn't get back up!...well I did at 9:00 long enough to put Jammie's on then right back to bed. Then I slept in til 7:00 this morning!
Lots of laundry to do today. They left my kitchen in a mess last night :(
No weekend plans.

75FIt is really cooler today and this will trick us into believing it will become cooler. Our hot summer will keep on aftert this week. We will not be fooled. Sandra, one of our regrets is not being able to visit Great Britain and travel for two weeks when younger. As we age we just become slower and that really takes away from travel. mother was very late picking me up last night. my sister who was taking her out to dinner was stuck in traffic from a very bad wreck for over an hour. we're just going to have a leisurely day putzing around here and maybe getting to the thrift shop and dollar store later. in the meantime i brought laundry to do myself, so i'd better get on that!

With 5 of us living in this house, we have lots of laundry, i hate the laundry in the winter as we dont have a dryer, it gets hung around the house on the radiators!
Seren, I enjoy thrift shops : ) I bought a washed out brown corduroy jkt and i dyed it purple! It looks amazing!
I bought another calla Lilly, its a red one, i am hoping it grows like the white one : )
I did too much yesturday and i'm feeling it today, so i'm just taking it easy : )

No daycare today. I didn't realize how tired I was. I slept until 10. I did stay up until 11:30 waiting for the moon to come into a good viewing position. It was a low full moon rising and with all our pines I could barely see it early on. Later I did and it is a beautiful bright full moon. No plans today except catching up on my shows I DvR. I have been watching Kylie's favorite 19 kids and counting or Keagan's PBS Sesame Street and such.
Kim sounds like fun to have a day out of the house and nice to get some sleep. Adventures are nice, especially with hubby.
Serenity wishing you the best weekend. Nice you can get that laundry done at mom's. sounds like a snow globe evening on the wait for pickup. Thrift shops sound fun. It has been so long since I have been. Hope you find some treasures.

hippy, i saw that full moon, too, wasn't it lovely?! hope you're enjoying a relaxing day catching up on your favorite shows. kids programs can wear you out.
fun and exhausting day. hit a large thrift store and found several great deals - a vibrant skirt i think i'll wear to my nephew's weeding this summer. two blouses and a pretty blue loosely crocheted summer sweater. by grocery store time i took a scooter. still very fun and worth it all.

Seren, the most thing that is backbreaking to me as well is doing the laundry. Putting it in the washing machine is not that hard. But it is having to lean over to take clothes out of the dryer!! When did my dryer get so low?? Hope you enjoyed the day putzing around. And I do love me a Dollar Store! Hope you had a great day.
Empathy, That is alot of people in the house with obviously a lot of laundry. Do you not worry about anything catching fire placing clothes on the radiator? So great about your washed out curderoy jacket turning into a great purple jacket. You go girl!!
Hippy, I stayed up late as well to see that Moon. Too many dang trees around here. :-( Doubt if I will still be alive to see it again. Is 19 kid's and counting still on the air? It is really sad that after all those kid's that she lost the last one. Do you think at all that it is rediculous to have that many children? I do miss those day's watching Sesame Street with my girls. And also Mr. Rogers....'member him?
Still prepping food for Father's Day tomorrow. I have to wake up so much earlier than I am use to. I hate when that happens. Get there at 12/noon.........no one is even out of church by then. Knowing DD she will just be leaving the Grocery store by then.....an hour late. :-) God bless her heart....she means well.
