Morning Hens,
Raining here this morning. We usually get hippy's weather the next day. I hope your feeling better this morning Hippy. Is it still raining there?
We watched two good movies last night. One was called Wanted and the other was called Taken. Unusual for there to be anything worthwhile on TV at all.
Was going to sleep in this morning but Simba woke us up howling. He wanted in his boys room. He loves my younges son:)

75FIt is really cooler today and this will trick us into believing it will become cooler. Our hot summer will keep on aftert this week. We will not be fooled. Sandra, one of our regrets is not being able to visit Great Britain and travel for two weeks when younger. As we age we just become slower and that really takes away from travel. Sunny day here with temps above freezing and the snow has been really melting… I think spring is on its way finally!!
Had a great day yesterday.. sat in the truck that pulled our float in the St Pattys parade and then went to a really great place for a late afternoon lunch.
My husband and I even sat on a replica of a big hog and friends took pictures.. however getting off was not as easy as getting on!

Yes Kim we started rain yesterday. A gentle rain. Through the night. Hope you don't get the surprise wind we received about 21/2 hours ago. I started having lots of pain before it came through and just couldn't figure it out. My mornings are usually good. I had just taken my meds an hour before. Well the winds blew in and our temp dropped about 15 degrees in 25 minutes. I had talked to my husband before he walked in to grocery and he said he couldn't believe the difference when he came out.
The movies sound good. Always nice when you can find something enjoyable and to find two even more so.

Cindy the St. Patrick's parade sounds so fun. I did see your lovely picture on the hog on FB. You looked happy. 30 miles from us the resort town of Hot Springs, Arkansas is known for having the shortest St. Patrick's parade. It is in the Guinness Book . I have heard this year New York will challenge it by having a parade where people walk in the door of a bar, through the bar, and then out the door on the other side. Craziness.
Anyone having Corned Beef? We are. Crockpot recipe with potatoes, carrots and cabbage. No green beer or green Jell-O shots. Used to though. A very big fan of St. Paddy's day. Kansas City celebrated big. I worked downtown and the city just about closed down for the day back then.

My week's accomplishments. 1. Cleaned out and organized sock drawer. (Q. Does anyone still own pantyhose?) 2. Tried the pantyhose and realized how uncomfortable they are. Q. How did I ever wear them?
