Kim when I think about this it is like a nightmare. I am still thanking God for your brother being alive. So glad you were able to reach nice people to help. Does it seem your brother will be able to drive back? Slow and easy does it. Hope you can stay busy. You are like me when something like this happens we have to keep occupied , still waiting to hear how T is doing?

Yesterday was one of those days for me. A system moved through and my occipital neuralgia and neck really kicked into high gear. By late afternoon nothing was working. The PM doctor said it would take up to 10 weeks for the RFA but when I have pain like yesterday sure does bring doubts. It just drains me. We are in for another tomorrow as we will move up twenty degrees. I am beginning to think I need to find a climate that doesn't have the drastic up and downs in temps. The pressure (barometric) up or down just wrecks me. Staying positive as I can and staying busy until the pain brings me to my knees and I am speechless and can't think straight and almost don't know my name. Sorry for the negative. I know many of us have our burdens and I care for each of you and think of all. At least for me it is not everyday and more often than not most manageable and I know many have everyday.

Kim, when you heard a story about how kind that patrolman was it sure renews faith in how good people can be. He sounds like a great guy. I know he will love getting a thank you note from him. It's very thoughtful of you to do that.

I hope I'm not being to nosey in asking questions about the wreck and your brother but how far from home were they? You said everything they had was in the truck so were they moving or just traveling? I know I'm always way over curious but that's just me. My dh thinks I always have to have too many details. It's a blessing and a curse. :-(

It is so great that they were able to retrieve all the electronics having everything been thrown over 1/2 mile. They are both so lucky to be alive. I hope your SIL is improving and will be better soon.

Hippy, I feel so bad that you are in such pain. Maybe a different climate would be a good choice. I can't believe that you are trying to stay busy with that much pain. I hope you took it easy some of the day and feel better tomorrow.

Today was strange as it always is when the time changes. I've never been a fan and I don't know why we still do it.

I've been trying to get a bit of ironing done everyday because I am soo far behind. It is something I always loved to do but with the eye surgery I was worried about the spray starch. Yes, I just said I enjoyed ironing.

I cleaned out the fridge to make room for more food that I can't eat. But I just keep buying.

Dh is at the ranch and I'm a bit disappointed that he went early for something that could have waited. The kids are on spring break so they were going there on Wed or Thurs depending on the weather. But dh had someone coming to build a fence for the newest cows he wants to buy and they can't get mixed in with the Longhorns as they can't breed with the other ones. But really????? Was this the only time the guy could build the fence?? So I stayed behind because just out of principle; I was not going that early because it wasn't necessary and he could have waited. He even wanted to drive the 5 1/2 hours back home to get me and 5 1/2 back again. That is not going to happen.

OK, so I went on a vent. I sure could have kept going but I thought I'd spare you the details. lol.

Oh sweet Carly I can read between the lines. Men. My dear one gets a focus on something and looses track of all things reasonable. Sometimes I remind him and others I just let him go his way because I know it is in his nature. I hope this doesn't mean you won't see the kiddos.
