This community is dedicated to discussing the financial crisis of 2007-2008, which has had a worldwide impact on wealth, jobs and personal security. Our hope is that this community will focus on positive thoughts, real advice for adjusting your expenses and investments based on these changes, and support for one another as we go through this painful period.

The movie is fantastic, and the lectures are just as good (search Peter Joseph on youtube) I'm also a huge fan of Gabor Mate.
Glad you enjoyed it though, I also think it's strength is in the diagnosis of the mess - I think we should however, pursue our own sustainable ways of living, rather than expect a simultaneous and global move in a certain direction. 'The Zeitgeist movement' has however since split with 'The Venus Project' and is more free and open to just that. The split is a long story, but was it seems for the best.
They frequently host a 'Z-day' event which goes out worldwide.
Lee camp is another good one - a supportive comedian with a show called 'Moment of Clarity'.
