Today is PT for my hip and leg, the MRI is next Thursday which I hope helps to diagnos the issue. My sleep is interrupted by waking to pain and that is not conducive to good health.

Sandra, curious about your politics on TV. We have 24/7 news on our political figures with the orange one every second. The next holiday is Halloween and then you have Christmas and Boxing Day to prepare for. We have Thanksgiving which is actually the most traveled day in the US, is boxing day as big as Christmas? That's two days to cook and bake for. When we lived in Georgia we had neighbors Basil and Patricia from England and we celebrated both days with them.
Carly, talking about all the talk of the holidays is making me hungry for mac and cheese, mincemeat pie, turkey and stuffing...I could go on and on! I know you do the bean cassarole? We don't really do that in this part of the US, Mom did but not me. Will Shea be involved?
Leo, At one time I baked and cooked for 25 family and I'm so thankful those days are gone. Now it's just three of us and for that I'm actually at peace. What do you bake and cook?

60FThose flowers in my garden are now dying in order to rebloom in the spring, it is just a part of life. Sandra, How is your garden looking and is it all ready for the winter? Joanne yeah we have a channel on TV where you can watch news and politics all day if you wish, otherwise it's on 4 times a day generally.
Boxing day isn't as big as Christmas day. People go sale shopping or they have family over that they couldn't see on Christmas day.
Christmas for you will be you thinking about Christmases gone by with your mum gone.
I keep meaning to get pictures of houses I've noticed in my neighborhood with Halloween decorations so you can see how pathetic it is compared to yours.
Leo aren't you glad you aren't cooking and baking for so many people this Christmas? You could have a rest or do you love to cook for everyone? It's going to be a very different Christmas for you without your father in law.
Carly, You and Mike really do clash over the orange one. Are you both talking now? Doug and I have had some lengthy no talking to eachother periods after crossed words. Do you both sulk lol ? If Shea wants to go to the ranch for Christmas doesn't it show she's trying to move forward with everyone??.. Summer for us is if it's warm or hot most days for longer than 3 months.
I made a Christmas cake today, I've wrapped it up in grease proof paper and tinfoil until I put marzipan on it in December. Lots of brandy added.

Joanne, I hope that PT went well for you. Sleep interrupted by pain is what Mike deals with all night. I wish that he would have continued with the PT. Well he is just to dang hard headed for that as of course didn't need them anymore. What can I say?
I do a bit more than the green been casserole. My Jambalaya is always a hit. I am thinking about a corn soufley. (sp) I found the best recipe.
Shea may be involved. I don't know; maybe that she would. I guess should ask. The kitchen is just not big enough for all of us. And there is a lot of cooks in this family who always seem to be in competition for who is the best. I absolutely do not care! Just give me some great food and I don't care who it comes from. It will all be good.
We just need to figure out where to cook it.

I am kind of thinking that your boxing day might be the same in reverse of our Black Friday shopping day.
Sandra, I never realised how difficult it was to ignore and not speak to some one living in the same house. I tried my best because I am so pissed at him for putting the orange one over me.
But what can I do? As much as resent what he did I just could not let him not have meal. lol
