Those flowers in my garden are now dying in order to rebloom in the spring, it is just a part of life.
Sandra, How is your garden looking and is it all ready for the winter? I do have dahlia's and many people pull out the bulbs but I leave them in and just cover then up against the freezing weather. Did Martin's fiance get her drivers license and then they can rent a car for trips or visits.
Carly, what are your plans for Thanksgiving in place yet, we have ours and also Christmas. What would your meals look like? What I find interesting is the regional differences in the states. Down south it was always macaroni and cheese, green beans and corn bread. Here we don't do any of those things.
Leo, and you are going? Moms can be draining even when well but towards the end it can become interesting, challenging and nuts.
On to shopping. I have PT tomorrow.

66FToday is PT for my hip and leg, the MRI is next Thursday which I hope helps to diagnos the issue. My sleep is interrupted by waking to pain and that is not conducive to good health. The sun on the dike trees are true Autumnal colors, I'll post later this week. Sandra, curious about your politics on TV. We have 24/7 news on our political figures with the orange one every second. The next...

The Oak in our garden is dropping it's leaves. The summer we had wasn't kind to the garden but I loved our summer this year, it was so nice to actually feel like we had a summer for a change.
There are so many gaps in the borders I want to fill but plants cost a fortune and they don't always survive.
With the small shed gone that was in the corner you can now see the ugly fence.
I have put a budlia in the corner but it has to grow first.
Doug loves macaroni cheese. I got my lamb this morning and some turkey breasts for me as Doug is not a fan.
So we'll both have the lamb Christmas day, he'll have pork the day after and I'll have any leftover lamb. I'll have a bit of turkey after that.
Carly, yeah I'll cook the pork Christmas day and he'll have it cold the following day.
Going with Mike for the ablation is the important thing, blood work not so much.
How did he get on today with the EKG?
Leo, what do you do Christmas day, are you the chef or a guest?
I agree on plants. I'm trying to collect seeds and nurture my own with little luck in some cases. Cosmos do well, phlox laughed at me, and the poison ivy is about all that's coming in big. But they're so expensive at the store! I was going to get some marigolds but the cost b lew me away. :-(
I'm having a quiet night in. Hubby's off to a Boys Night, so I'm just gonna read and pet the cat. We had a nice light dinner of parmesan-broccoli roasted in oven on brown rice with a lovely light tomato sauce. Sounds awful, but honestly, super healthy and comforting too. The cheese does it.
Gotta go wipe down things again. Found a last niche of nasty moth eggs. Cloth moths, no less. Yeah, I have enough worries, no holes in my clothes please!
HUGS HUGS HUGS to Mike, Carly. How'd he do on the EKG?
Joanne, the flowers look great before they are dying. :0( The circle of life.
We are still working on the plans for the holiday's. It is just beginning the worry of what to do. Why can't those wonderful day's just be without drama?
I want to go to the ranch on Thanksgiving as we always do with Christie and family but now that Shea is coming around she might want to go. I am not quite ready for that. And that is a very long stay with alot of family and alot of meals to cook and not that many beds. lol.
Sandra, I keep looking for lamb in the stores. I do remember it one time when I had it it was different but I sort of liked it. But would never know how to cook it.
And what do you call summer?
Leo, Don't you just love a boy's night or really any night for some me time.
Mike did ok with the ekg. But I will say that his blood pressure is brewing right now. We have the worst argument ever tonight!! I am so upset that I did not even want to post.
I made a comment about the idiot Dumpster/trump and he came unglued. It started out as a joke but he did not see it that way. It did not end well.
Hateful words were exchanged and I could not believe it!! Over Trump? I am embarrassed to even say it.
