erika, i hope you're sleeping now.
how much fun was that party? i slept like a log. my pizza turned out great and i have more mushrooms to saute for something. maybe mushroom barley soup?
it's going to be a warm day, so i may go sit in the little park across the street and feed some birds and squirrels for a bit. just a mellow day. pain is low so far, so i'm hoping that lasts, so i can do a few things around the house.
the bright moon is still hanging in the sky glowing so pretty. penny is sitting between my feet so i can pet her.
hope all recover and recharge today b/c we're off to the land of oz soon!
Grammagus, that's great news about that guy. Gid bless the both of you. Serenity is right, you were put in each other's path for a reason. I'm so glad the cushions are working out. I love that color in anything. I have a lot of turquoise in my kitchen. I hope Ed is doing okay.
Erika, I hope you're sleeping by now honey. I know it will be nice to get back to your recliner so you can be comfortable. You're such a great daughter, always being there for Mom. I hope your pain eases up honey.
Serenity, I'm so jealous of your nice weather I can't wait for the weather to warm up enough here to be able to sut outside. I'm glad you enjoyed your puzza. You're making me hungry.
I went to the birthday party last night and I'm glad I did. This guy is waiting to have a kidney transplant, but yesterday at dialysis, his drs told him his heart is too weak right now. I think only 4 people showed up which is really sad because he's always there for everyone he's friends with.
So I got home about 11:45 and was getting into my comfy clothes and I went to take my jewelry off and my ring was missing. I called and luckily they found it on the bar floor. I was surprised they found it so fast because it's a very thin band with a cross that dangles from it. I would have been so disappointed had I lost it.. I was going to go get it today, but I got dressed and went back and picked it up. I ran into another good friend that I haven't seen in awhile so that was nice. It was a nice night. I just felt bad for Jimmy because no one showed up for him and it could very be his last birthday he has. I'm just glad I went, but sorry I missed a great party here.
I hope everyone has a relaxing day with low pain.
Love and hugs,
Xoxoxo

Grammagus...sorry for the rough week...but yay for the blessings!!
Erika...hope your resting!!
Serenity...I have to read up on the party!! No wonder you slept good!!
As for me...well the good news is Maddy was amazing yesterday! She nailed her back tuck and performed like I've never seen!! They scored high on 3 of the 5 dances. Her Pom dance...the one of the pic I posted...scored 3rd place overall! Jazz was 5th, hip hop had their own division, but she was 3rd overall. And she is in the 12-14 age group now so that is the most competitive group. I was so amazed at how much she has grown, matured, and improved from last year. I know I'm biased, but she was gorgeous!!!
But the bad...I wasn't sure I was going to make it. The pain was WAY worse than I thought it would be. It was so hard getting her from one costume to another. Then as soon as she was dressed I had to walk all the way back to the auditorium which was a hike. I did that about 10 times total. I had my back brace on. And I did have a ton of help. It just didn't matter. The pain was so severe. And it's not much better now.
I'm going to go back to bed. Not sure what else to do. Ughh.
But...it was worth it!!

Autumn
autumn, i'm so glad you made it through the monumental dance event. i'm really sorry that you're suffering so much for it, and very proud of maddy. she sounds so talented. praying for relief and rest for you today and a feeling of satisfaction for all YOU did. you deserve so much credit as well.
i posted a photo of the moon out my window this morning.
I'm so glad that Maddie did so well yesterday. I'm just sorry you had to suffer because of it. Being a former dancer, I do know what's involved in getting ready. I don't know how you did it. Hopefully, today you can do nothing but rest. Maddie has grown into a beautiful young lady.
Love and hugs,

Grammagus- So glad you were able to help your neighbor and that he is better and reaching out. That is a good feeling.
e4- When you party all night, you got to get extra rest! LOL Seriously I hope your are resting now and wake up feeling refreshed. I am about to join you. Way too tired, and I missed the party.
ME- so glad you went to the party. That is so sad that more people did not show up. It has always amazed me that so many people start backing away when they know someone is dying. What luck that they found your ring. Hope today is a good one.
Autumn- Congrats to your daughter. I looked at the photos, she is beautiful. I have done those competitions and know how hectic it is. Your back needs to be protected more. Having to run back and forth is not good. You and /or your daughter need to come up with some ideas. I know you could ride a scooter to the dressing rooms but there is no way to use it once the girls are doing their changes. I had all of my dance gear in a container on wheels. The make-up box was sectioned with everything in its place. Maybe make a check list that you can use with each trip so you have everything you need prepacked. It was the same for modeling, but by that time, I was on my own, with no one to run back to the car. I hope you can get some rest today. So sorry it kicked your pain so high. But as a mom, I would be doing the same. Your kids are lucky.
Serenity- Happy International Women's Day. Why don't we get parades and a holiday. LOL Hope you have a restful day.
Well, I am off to bed. Yesterday I made it out to a community Arts and Crafts festival. It was nice, and I did not run over my husband with the new electric wheel chair. I am slowly learning how to drive it.
Wishing all a low pain day with many positive moments.
Hugs-RJ
Grammagus good to see you start the morning post :). Wonderful blessing on your neighbor, you were his blessing and it came back full circle! Great news on the cushions, your business is off to an amazing start.
Erika been missing you! Hope you get the rest you need and hopes up you're aunt is feeling better about things. That was some good tincture last night :)
Serenity you can have my share of mushroom and barley! i'm not picky about to many things, but.....
Aw ME that is just sad :(. I hope he enjoyed himself just the same with what sounds like the true friends he has. Glad you found your ring!
Autumn you have every right to feel proud of Maddy, she works hard and is one gorgeous young lady! Sorry you hurt so much for it. RJ gave some great tips. My girls had me running after them with too many activities, I understand! Now they're the ones doing it ;)
RJ go girl friend! soon you'll be doing donuts and wheelies in that thang! I'm glad you enjoyed yourself at the festival, I use to go to them like crazy and loved them myself. Enjoy your day of rest!
I've got to get out today whether I want to or not, otherwise nothing different going on around here.
A good day, low levels, peaceful moments and much love,
Toni

i wwanna thank each of you for making an impact in my life. much love to the Circle.
Erika-you have been missed. I am so sorry for the pain increase. Good daughter!
Serenity-Can you save me some of the soup?
ME-I could spit fire! Under my breath I am really really pissed for your friend. That is so hurtful that his party was not well attended. Glad you found the ring.
Autumn you have every right to feel proud of Maddy as she has worked for where she is and you deserve a trophy for your part!
RJ-I am glad you have a way to get out and enjoy an activity. I used one at Disney and ran into my son's wheelchair and he knocked over a table of drinks. At least people laughed and didn't get upset.
Min-Enjoy your time!
Last night was exhausting but the party was worth it. Now I need to conserve energy for my birthday down in the Land of Oz tomorrow.
We are going to a float home open house. Out of our price range but will give us a good comparison on what a few more dollars can give us........like anything in life. There is a budget and then a dream! Then we are looking at new condo's for lease right on the water where the float homes are because I am trying to be realistic with the budget. Sell this place and lease for awhile until the perfect float home comes along.
That being said-I still LOVE the first one but the second bedroom was too small. There is room to enlarge but after renovating this place do I want to again? Decisions. Anyway an excuse to just be on the water is all I need in the beautiful Spring day.
Love, Hugs and Low Pain,
Joanne
Min, I'm glad you're enjoying spending time with your son. Hopefully, it makes you feel better.
Joanne, I hope you have a wonderful time looking at the houseboats. Enjoy the weather. Don't get too tired honey, save some energy for your party.
Toni, don't over do it today, but I understand when you have to go out and get things, you have to. Just don't do too much at once.
Hope everyone has a good one
love you guys,

During my life time many changes have happened to benefit women. Probably starting when the Kennedys started living in the White House. For me, Mrs Jackie Kennedy, had an impact on my way of thinking. She made the office of the President seem so accessible . Prior to that my experience in life had been that the beautiful women were just that. Beautiful just went that far. She made me realize that being beautiful meant just that. A very pretty presence. However, when dealing with the press, making the shows- -like touring the White House she showed me that she really had intelligence. She brought ideas and thoughts down to my level of thinking. She was the first , that I could remember, to make comments about religion. She said things like "We should pray." Simple comments yet very important and memorable to me. Like what First Lady ever made comments on religion? Or possibly, making things more local for us, I could never remember the Governors wife ever making her presence known. Or even a Senators wife being involved in most anything. Good grief, I have never even known what they looked like. That I feel was the fault of these women. They fell to the back of their husbands. Getting their pictures taken as they would go visiting at a childrens hospital. Did they just not ever do that? Did the press just ignore these women? I wonder why this happened.
Doorbell rang. Company here. I will try to finish this later.
