Yesterday my daughter said she had plans to be out of her mobile home by the first of the year and that she was going to find an apartment with room enough for Ed and me. This is a real relief for us as our SS checks just aren't enough to live on. Okay this is going to take a great deal of planning and using up a good chunk of savings. I told her that I won't drive cross country until Spring, so I was thinking April.. We live in Phoenix, AZ and my daughter lives in Raleigh NC. At least they will have the apartment furnished so there won't be a need for a Uhaul..
We will do more talking when they come out to visit on September 23. I am excited about the move, but the weather is going to be a complete opposite.
Today is blanket brigade day. I love going to blanket brigade and talking to all the girls. Tomorrow is church and we will go out after church for lunch..

i'm just going to move on today and deal with all this stuff i brought in. i can't take any more staying off my feet. with the weather the same as yesterday working indoors is a must. what should i do with those pretty purple peppers?
my cousin is in town helping my mother organize and make the big move today. all this chaos is really getting to her and mine is, too. the new mover is a good Christian man who prayed with her, so that ended up being a blessed calamity when the first mover was a doofus.

I have spent the last 2 weeks at a hospital trying to get the pain under control. New meds and some education in Biofeedback, Trigger Point Massage, etc has helped a lot.

Serenity I'm glad your cousin is helping your mom and you can just take care of your own stuff at least for awhile. Stuff those peppers! I just can't think of anything prettier for you to do with them LOL!

Got a few things done yesterday yay! which meant no sleep last night boo! so I see a nap in the future for today...yay! Think I'm going to work on organizing some photos......nice slow work.......double yay!!
We've been under a heat advisory and with the humidity a little storm popped up around 4:30 and brought rain. That's some heavy humidity! The thunder was a booming......

I'm recuperating from my jaunt to the grocery store yesterday. With Hal working 6 days a week lately, a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do. I've got books to read and movies to watch, not to mention what I DVR'ed.

Rj, I learned biofeedback from our university students when i was 8. I actually learned to turn the pain off. I even could slow my heart rate down to nothing, which was great at parties. You sweet darlins, intently listening to my chest, starting to panic when they haven't heard a beat for over 30 seconds, then scream out in excitement when they hear it. Never couldn't understand the fuss, but i didn't mind.Later usually ended up with me feebly attempting to keep my innocence intact. lol Hmmmm
Trigger points I use daily, so learn which ones help and if possible have hubby come in to learn also since it's better if someone else does it on you. Here a site I use frequently,

Today may finally finish the lawn, but may not. Have a craving to go para sailing (like behind a boat), but behind a pickup truck going down the highway instead, that would be way too cool, plus I'd love to hear what the charges would be!! I need a bucket list, but I don't know if I'd survive half of the things on that list. I'm in this "I WANT TO CAUSE MISCHIEVOUS SHIT" mode. Like load up the ladies (i always hung out with 2 ladies, my sis's) and see what trouble we can find. Boy was it fun finding that trouble!
Lately tossing around the idea of buying a hitch wagon and another team. We have a horse farm across the road we could board them at and the wifes been talking of wanting to get another one. I'd love to get a "green" team and train again, but you need a second person who can move like the wind when they need too. my wife use to help me with those teams but she's slowed down considerable. She wants to ride again and I want to drive again.
The dream I'm really tossing around is building a horse drawn rv. Basically a covered wagon with all the perks. Sink fridge, stove, oven, toilet shower, generator, furnace and it's definitely will have a kick ass stereo. Trot around Canada in the summer and Southern States in the winter. Perhaps show up at Toni's or Mary Ellen's doorstep saying, "grab an overnight bag cause we're going on a road trip and we won't be sure where we'll find ourselves in tomorrow"! LOL Now that would be fun....

Just popping in real quick to wish everyone a fantabulous & low pain day. Getting ready to go to my brothers for my Nieces 13th Bday party. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone. I don't recall who mentioned it yesterday I think it was Dianna, but you couldn't pay me to go to the State fair LOL! The last time I went was a little over ten yrs ago. I'm happy for those that are able to go & have a good time. I'll stay in the AC lol Have a great day everyone!
