Sunny Sunday because even if your weather is not sunny, you all carry sunshine in your hearts. For anyone who wants to see my crocheted items, you can go to: www.angelfire.com/az/grammagus. Or if you have a facebook, you can friend me and then you will be able to see the new bunnies after I accept your friend request.
As usual, off to church this morning. After that I will come home and have a hot dog and some home made tuna macaroni salad.
I may or may not make some more animals. I'm thinking of something small like my little birds, but not too sure. I would still like to make something special for a few of the girls at the church.
Loves, hugs and prayers for all

89FToday it is again another hot day but cooler then yesterday. Since this is August it is to be expected in my neck of the woods. All the grass is yellow and flowers are starting to go to seed. I need to water my garden but this time of the year I'm so over it, which is weird because all my plants have their fruit or veggies.Sandra, this time of year reminds me of your Dad and his toms. i'd started a post, so i'm just sharing it...it's the first day of spring theoretically although it sure doesn't feel like it many places including here. still it's nice to know it's on the way. whew, it's chilly here, but some of the birds are still chirping.
todd, my neighbor, came by to buy a couple of smokes last night and visit. i wouldn't accept $, so he kindly got the 40lbs of litter to the bathroom. ahhh, what a relief. he also took the boxes down for me. not having a person in home i appreciate neighborliness so much.
a bit of a panic here b/c the inspection by investors/buyers is tomorrow and tuesday. the last time this happened it was like a swamp of bees came in going in different directions without introductions. i'm going to do what i can today and try to let it go. still feeling that pulled muscle, so my limits are clear. i was watching a show earlier that had a great quote about worry being the greatest thief of joy so i'm claiming that for the day, week, season...
do you have some excitement about spring being here or some thought you want to claim? would love to hear about it all. here's an example of how the ukrainians celebrate spring...psyansky eggs

Grammagus, your lunch sounds sooooo yummy, I do believe I'm going to be a copycat and have the same thing.....me hungry! Please say an extra prayer for me and the rest of the group. Bless your heart for all the work you put into making your little animaks, I know the children must realky love them. I hope you & Ed have a wonderful relaxing day.
Serenity, what a great trade off with your neighbor! That was so nice of him and I'm sure a big relief to you. Screw the inspection! Do what you can do and try not to sweat it. I sure hope your pain level goes down as the day moves along, please pace and try not to overdue I'd hate for you to hurt worse than you are.
I've had a rough weekend so far, a pity party if you will. Yesterday we were to get togather with all of Dorans siblings, spouses, nieces & his little two great Nephews for the annual pre Easter brunch at Perkins. Around 3am yesterday my glands decided to swell up and my temp went up right along with it so I stayed home. I have been looking forward to going to church today for a couple of weeks as its Palm sunday, that too is a no go and it sucks and quite frankly I'm getting so sick of it all, no pun intended. Sorry, don't mean to be a downer.
I hope everyone has a beautiful happy sourit day with low pain/stress
Love & Hugs
Lisa
The sun was supposed to make an appearance this afternoon, 3pm and still no sign, but i think i feel spring like because ive done nothing but clean and tidy.
Ive got a washing line full of laundry.
I even managed to get in the garden and plant some little plants i bought.
The garden is looking sad, no colour and the ground is waterlogged and is muddy in places.
It looks like it could do with a good tidy up and a fair bit of sunshine shine.
Time to put my feet up after all that : )
Grammagus love your creations! Sure the woman who ordered is going to love them too! A good Palm Sunday to you :).
Serenity nice you and your neighbor are helping each other so much...sure it means as much to him :). Your link didn't work either!, but I love psanksky eggs.........beautiful and wow the patience! Love the slogan...keep at it :)
Lisa sorry for the rough weekend, you can be sick of it....it's earned! Hard to keep the chin up when plans fail because the body is screaming no you can't. I hope you get to feeling better real soon.....in all ways :)
Of all things it is snowing right now...oh brother! It's been raining so not a chance of sticking, but hey I don't want anymore of the stuff.
Think I'm going to go over these floors today, need to work the stiffness out of my back. Maybe just run the vacuum over them ;).
Made tuna salad for sandwiches today. Now are we all going to do tuna? ha. Better than laundry!
Much love and many hugs!
Toni
A good day to you
Serenity, I'm glad you had someone move that litter for you, but he should do that for nothing, (lol) Hope you feel better honey. I hope your inspection goes well. Geez, they do an awful lot of those. Hope you have a great day honey.
Lisa, sorry you are not feeling well. Be careful because the flu is going around. It's too bad you couldn't make church, but your health is important. I know you must be sick of not feeling well. I pray you feel better soon honey. I remember feeling the same way after my cervical surgery. Never thought I'd get better, but I did.
We'll, Scott and I are having a lazy Sunday, just relaxing. I made a roast beef dinner yesterday so either it will be leftovers, which I love a hot roast beef dinner, or we'll go out and get something. I hope everyone celebrating Palm Sunday has a nice one. OursOurs, Syrian Orthodox isn't until next month. I pray everyone has a great day with low pain and stress.
Love and hugs,
Xoxoxo

Hey Toni, I missed you too. I type too slow with these hands now. Try not to overdo the cleaning honey. I know your back is stiff, but cleaning the floors may only make it worse. I hope you get some relief.
Love and hugs,
Xoxoxo

Serenity-There is no way for me to fathom the angst you must be going through with the inspections and then on top of that how you are feeling. Hard to muster up joy!
Empathy-Good to see you and most of us have bleak gardens with a few bulbs springing forth.
Lisa- I feel your pain!!! A while back I was so looking forward to a baby shower of long standing and supportive friends but vertigo reared and left me in turmoil.......no go. So very sorry for you!
ME-I came to the conclusion we cook a lot of the same things! Love left over roast in oven faced hot roast/gravy/mashed potatoes on toast........with minced onions. Have you had that?
Toni=SNOW!!! Say it isn't so! That really sucks for the first day of spring. Work out your kinks very carefully!
The metal containers for the raised beds are in, filled with loam and just waiting for seeds......but too rainy. We went to Mass last night and there was a young married couple in front of us. They reminded me of when we were first married and how the smiles and arms around the shoulders are still here for us and I pray for them too. They gave me hope for many young couples starting out with the future unfolding. Yes, I am and always will be a romantic and also a realist that *&*() happens.
Peace
how nice of you not to accept $ for the smokes even with how expensive they are nowadays...nice he took the litter to the bathroom for you. have you seen the "light" litter they make now? its a great idea for those of us with lift linit restrictions, i just dont know how expensive it costs. i know these next two days are going to be hectic, i wish i was there to help however i could. just think, by Wednesday the madness will be over...i hope.
im so sorry you missed going to the outing with Doran and his peeps. Lisa, whats important is getting you well so try not to beat yourself up okay, i'm sure they understand. feel better okay.
hang in there Empathy, the sun will find you and your garden soon. i know it seems drab now but try to imagine those flowers popping up and the soggy soil will firm up. and those birds will be all over singing their cheerful tunes.its real nice having you here, we will lift you up until then.
did you say that "S" word Toni? wth?? wow easy does it on those floors okay. you guys are making me crave tuna! lol that reminds me, had two can of salm,on, cracked one open yesterday and these kitties sure loved me!. just gave them each a tablespoons ...theres enough too spread over a few days. enjoy your sandwich, wish i could join you.
ahhh Mary Ellen love yours and Scotts plans for the day. ejoy your dinner, which ever you decide on. im so glad you have such a wonderful person to spend your life wife. i really like him, even tjougfh i have never "met" him in person. anyone who loves and treats yyou like the queen you are is okay in my book *smiling like a chest-ire cat
im watching hells kitchen thinking about putting on a pot of bean, got some really great 10 or 15 assorted bean variety...who knows wat ill come up with. i think i just want to create something. lol lemme get to soaking lol. other than that we are just going to kick baclk and enjoy the brightness of the day.
for those of you that celebrate this Easter holiday, enjoy Palm Sunday, may the and joy of the season fill your hearts with love and kindness.
empathy, your garden is such a lovely place and i love that you can hang laundry out. i hope the sun broke through at some point today. there's always the promise of spring.
toni, thanks for letting me know b/c it worked for me. i did post a couple in photos. please be careful with the floors. i'm sure they're getting tracked up a lot with soggy back yard. glad you like the psysanky. can't believe i did that.
fay, that left over roast beef sounds so yummy. i hope you two enjoy your day no matter what you eat.
moonie, what a beautiful scene you were presented with. i'm glad you were able to go and represent those of us who wanted to be there. no shame in being a romantic!
yes, angst is the perfect word. i can barely stand for 5 minutes, so i can't fret at this point. i pay full rent and that's that.
