Sunny and for this I'm thankful.
Sandra, did you get to mix the color with the white for the room ? When I taught art classes we had to do that many times and I'd remind everyone to add the color to the white not the other way around, I know it seems to make more sense to add white to the color but white needs to be the base and then add the color. Another trick is make a color softer with grey, add the base color like green that is too bright and add it to a cup of grey for a gallon of green. I miss teaching art. How was your work days? I hope it went well for you.
Carly, so sorry to lose your post, I did that last week. Has Mike settled down anymore? I sure hope he does for your sake at some time. You have a lot on your plate with the storms, flooding and the Abbeville house.
Leo, I don't mind have cooler weather as it is more productive and I can have windows open. When it's unbearably hot the AC goes because inside heat is a trigger for my Afib. It's a good thing Mario likes it really cool inside, too. If I could I'd send it to you in a heart beat!
Yesterday I everything out of the kitchen drawers, cleaned and added new contact paper to the bottom of the drawers. Then went through everything to see if it was still needed. The drawers are a thing of organized beauty and for that I'm so happy.
PEACE

I'm talking about the Lindsay Clancy mistrial. Why didn't the Judge substitute an alternate for the male juror who refused to follow the law? He singlehandedly caused a mistrial. Apparently, he thought that he knew better than the other 11 jurors. If you can't tell by now, I wanted Lindsay to be acquired if criminal responsibility, as did the other 11 jurors. Having had a psychotic...

It is 84f here and sunny...finally. We had so much rain that we canceled the yard guys.
After my shopping trip yesterday I got in my car and I swear...it had to be over 1oo degrees!
I was checking out with a new blouse. I asked the lady at the counter, does this look like an XS? She told me that it looked like an X-large. So I put it back. I hated doing that because it was so cute and I wanted something new to wear to Abbeville this week.
Mike has gotten so much better. He is in charge of his pills and also made his own breakfast this morning. That extra sleep was great for me even if was only 30 minutes.
We still have more things to clear in the LA house. The one biggest problem is the partial (1/3) ownership by the Church. I don't know what my Uncle was thinking when he left his portion to the church. That was in 2004. We have made every payment and repairs to the property without ever asking for a penny. I don't think that some of them even know they have a share. We started off dealing with the local Parish. Everytime we get close there is another Priest in charge.
We were told that the church has no interest in residential property. To just maybe make a donation to the church. But for how much?. I don't think they deserve anything. I have not seen any paper's saying that was my Uncle's wishes. But even though he wanted to leave something to the church as he was cared for by them (as he was a Priest). He should have known not to include his family home. His brother, my father and Mother had been living there for 30 years after their mom died. So much expences paid after every hurricane and just up keep.
We have got to get this cleared up
We are going to meet with the Diocese this week as we have learned (and should have known) they would have the last say.
Sandra, hope is going well with the painting. Nice that Mario likes it cool inside. But I wonder if it is as cool as Mike likes it. 77f would be great for him but I refuse to put it there. One degree makes a difference. I would love 75 but compromise it's 76f. and no fan for him
Joanne, I sooo love organizing.
Leo, thinking of you. I posted last night wishing we well with all you are dealing with. But he may have heard me yelling when I lost it. I am trying to catch up.
I know that I have written a novel and I will lose it if I lose it again.
Sending much love and hugs all around.
