I've been busy redoing my living room and wow am I going to pay for it. I have things where I want them for the most part and dusted. I still need to mop and vacuum my couch.

Well I ended up asking my brother if he knew anyone who would cut up my tree and he's here cutting it up with a friend. His friend said he'd cut it, stack it and haul some for $50. I told him if he cuts it down real fine I'll pay him more. I might need him for something else and wow $50!

It's warmed up much more than expected. I'll take it.

I still have gritty eyes, but still getting there.

I'm going to have to go get some cash after I eat and then it's going to be rest rest rest.

I have Easter lilies coming up and some of my other plants are starting to peek out. We're getting there : )

24F and snow expected

Noni-Congrats on a new grandbaby! That is a beautiful building.

Toni-That is a good deal for $50 a d to have it stacked. Nothing is peeking up from the ground through the snow.

We went shopping and the roads were compacted ice with snow. It was not enjoyable but we got it done. So many abandoned cars on the roadside. It's unbelievable the amount of snow we had, record.

I just took down a shelf, patched the screw holes and now waiting for tomorrow when Tess and Jake will be here to put together the TV stand and paint the walls.

Looking forward to getting things done this week in rearranging for better room flow.

Your post disappeared alright, I couldn't see you! You were hiding in the snow. You actually have 2 posts up, I'd say you couldn't see yourself. DS has really done it now. What to do with people that insist on driving in the snow! Glad you weren't one of the abandoned.

My guys going to come back tomorrow he had to go pick up his little one. He has it all cut up except the tree itself and a friend is cutting that wanting it for firewood.

I just ate some chili and am going to crash real soon. My goodness but I'm wore out!

noni, congrats to all! how exiting to have a new grandchild and a child between the two of them. glad you're having family over who'll also help. i bet that bath felt good.
i love the mural. it must be nice seeing it each morning. brightens up an area to have art like that.

oh moonie, i'm glad you got your shopping done with all the snow and ice. mario must be good at driving. glad tess will be there to help you.

next door was loud last night and it was chilly, so rest has been the only thing on my agenda. i'm back on my laptop since a wonderful cable tech came and got things straightened out. the power company had cut the line under the house, so i never would have found that.

mother sounded good when i reached her. she was going to bingo, then resting till dinner.. i'll go by next week. parking spaces are rare on the weekend. she finally decided to sell here car.

waiting for my neighbor to get a new folding bookcase out of my car. for now i'm putting clothes in it. i filled out an application to claire's building. i figure i can get out of this lease without fault if it comes to that. still no repairs. idk!

i'm goiing to watch a movie, then heat up a casserole for dinner.

I know people wonder about the snow and why people are driving. We were caught unaware as did the weather stations that we'd have 10 inches of snow in February. The other issue is people can't just leave work, schools can't drop off kids without parents home. I left the library at noon and live 2 t/2 miles away and it became from 0 to needing my Jeep in 4 wheel drive. Mario can't have staff/doctors/nurses leave the hospital or who would take care of the patients? He runs one program but there are 2 floors and about 3 hundred patients needing meds and protection from their mental illness. We had to go shopping, we needed meds etc. That is the reality, also people that are hourly wage earners can't afford to miss work if they need to pay rent. It is a nightmare since this is not normal weather. Nothing is easy when it comes to weather, but I'll take this over losing what we had in both tornadoes and hurricanes when living down south.

Nonie, that is fantastic news. I am so sure that you are looking forward to getting out those crocheting tools.

It is so good to see that you are having family over. We don't see that a lot. And you have a wonderful dil who will clean those floors. What a jewel she is.

Toni, what are going to do to your living room? I so hope that you are not going to pay for it later.

I think that $50 bucks is a bargain for sure.

And I am so wishing you rest and more rest. And praying that the eyes are getting better.

Moonie, it is just mind boggling to me how anyone is able to get around with that weather. But what a wonderful job that you are doing and for all that you are helping for those in need.

I'm finally resting and I'm ready. I can say I got a lot done and I'm paying for it.

Serenity why don't you have a buddy talk with your neighbor? He's been helpful surely he will understand. You have to feel better knowing your mother is selling her car, one less worry. Movie night all the way around.

Moonie thank goodness you have a vehicle that can handle extreme weather. I saw ice is headed your way now, you've sure been taking a beating. There's always circumstances that bring people out, but many think they have the stamina for it when it's the vehicle that needs it what's required from them is patience and if you don't have both stay home. I walked home a few times!

I'm going to choose a movie and relax.
