Friday is one of my favorite days because I love doing the volunteer work at the church. Also it is the day that I get the most bike riding in since I ride the bike to the church.
Mini strokes have been down for the last 2 days. I know they won't go away, but not feeling tipsy as much is wonderful.
I will probably stop at the bike shop today to get a rear view mirror for my bike. I will feel better if I can see the cars coming up behind me.
I didn't have to babysit yesterday so I used the time to make hubby a whole wheat apple chunky cake, and then I made chewy coconut cookies for the church.
Allergies are still here, but not as bad as yesterday. Most allergy meds make me sleep and during the day I want to be up and doing.

G od Bless you, you're always doing something. Both the Apple Chunky Cake and Coconut Chewy Cookies sound good. I have to ger back strict on my diet here. From eating all the extras here and there and not being able to work out, I can feel the weight coming on. I have to start watching what I'm eating a little closer .
That's a good idea to get a mirror put on thst bike so you can see the cars coming. Hope you enjoy your day at church doing your work.
I am getting my staples out today! Yippee! I'm looking forward to getting them out. I'll still be in the collar, but that area won't have to be bandaged every day. Slowly, but surely healing.
The weather today isn't bad, it's in the 40's but I just heard them say they're tracking a snow storm for the beginning of next week. I'm si ready for winter to be done with.

grammagus, you are the baking queen! best to be safe and get the mirror. glad to hear that your allergies aren't so bothersome. i take Zyrtek at night and they aren't quite as bad in the mornings. i don't like taking them during the day wither.
ME, i hope getting the staples out will help some. i'm glad you're getting a break in the weather. i'm sure once you get back to your regular life, you'll be able to shed some weight.
i'm just finishing up food for tomorrow and hopefully will have the energy to get downtown briefly. i've run through my kleenex and a few other things. today will be lovely, low 70's, but rain tomorrow and possbily snow next week. crazy!!

Good idea on the RV mirror. Drivers just don't pay much attention to anything if it's not wrapped in metal! Enjoy the day.
YaY! Out with the stitches! Are there any stretching exercises you can do to stay somewhat limber? I'm sure your surgeon loves you. Surgeons look at their surgeries like works of art. They don't like it when patients screw their surgeries up by being non-compliant. Let us know how you feel after your appt, ok?

I'm on my patio per usual. I got my roses pruned though (Finally!). I'm paying for it today but that's ok. Hal's off today so I sent him golfing. I'm used to peace and quiet in the morning. I don't know how long he'll last though. It's a blustery day so far.
Max and Jack are doing ok so far but the day is young..........

I've got to find out what's going on with my eye, blah. It started hurting yesterday and now it's swollen (you should see the other guy). I'm so ready for a break from it all ugh! I guess this means I actually have to wear something other than pjs today!

This week coming up will be a bit busy as my daughter has more hours at work than usual and I'll be needed to do some babysitting. Her kids are no trouble though, great kids and fun to be with. My other daughter is moving the end of the month to my neighborhood. She will be just one street over so I'll have all my little ones and my two daughters within walking distance, even for me. I can't wait. I haven't been seeing Noah much lately and I miss him.
I wish everyone a great day and a nice warm sunny spring. We are getting rain and the ice and snow are melting but there is alot to melt so it will take a while. Also we are supposed to get a couple days of snow next week too. Like everyone else I am soooooo ready for warmer weather, it will help with my pain levels too. Take care my friends, Love and hugs,

I read all the postings and will pray for low pain and calm days.
Not up to par with antibiotics for tooth, lowered prednisone and trying to finish up info on refi.
Pray for refi to go through or we will need to move and that idea sends me into spirals of despair.
