Furniture/Room/Wallpaper Done

It is a lot of work painting the inherited furniture but I decided it was mine and I could do what I wanted with it! I still have the dining table to start.

My first thought was: Art Deco and Art Nouveau and I hope that's okay b/c I love Art Deco and it's just so cool the way you used black and white!

Leo, you are absolutely right! It has taken me seven years with at least four wallpaper changes, nine different paint colors and finally it came together. The inherited furniture from a cousin was beautiful but I just knew it needed to be re-imagined. Living in a floating home this is not a design anyone else would consider! The most difficult decision was where to find the rugs. BTW when we had the kitchen redone I chose black cabinets before it became popular.

Wow the furniture is amazing, so beautifully done. There's always that apprehension with old furniture, do you paint over it or keep it original, but you've chosen well.
I just knew a person with OCD did this because looking at the door way there's exactly the same amount of diamonds on each side, like 3 diamonds on each side lol
That would have annoyed me not to get that right if I hung it.
I love the plants hanging in...I can't think what they are called.. it's on the tip of my tongue. I've got a couple of those.

Sandra, I can see a mistake but there is no way I'm redoing it! I have Pothos and another plants and the name is ??? I too me so long to do this and finally I love it. There are other tables and drawers that need to be done but it will be in the fall. That window is the where we see the river.

    It's going to get hotter here with Thursday being the hottest. It's noon and 75f feels more like 80 or more.I've been cleaning up the deck in this morning and cleaning the windows outside. Then I cut up a  pallet in half, I've decided to call it quits now because I went a bit light headed. Joanne, some drugs we take have an effect on us in the heat, I know a couple of mine do, maybe yours...
