So it has been. Off and on showers in our neck of the woods. The E dogs go home today as son and his family will be back from Disneyworld in a few hours. We have had 8 dogs since Monday . That would be 4 extra. K&K the other 2 grandchildren who are with is during the week while dad works are with their mom at the beach and won't be here until Wednesday so it will be a vacation for me.
GrammaG strawberry shortcake yummy. I can picture the little critters you crochet as my sister's DIL does them and I have seen pictures. They are adorable and anyone who receives a critter from you is a lucky ducky.
Leo I thought you were getting up early for the IT guy. That would be early for me.
Hope he got the job done. I really enjoy your sense of humor.
Water and our Lab/Boxers are about the only thing running at our house.
Some days I am a slow crawl. My other half wore his favorite work boots which had a heel missing on one boot to work outside yesterday and has limped around all day. He even borrowed my cane.
It took him all day to realize why. A quarter inch less on one side will do that to you.
Serenity last week we were so hot and humid I had two cold showers. Not straight cold but almost.
This was after being outside. As long as we are cool in mornings and late evening there is hope. I know the never ending is coming though. I would think anyone would be better than the manager you had.
Someone with good attitude will make all the difference in the world.
Lisa you should be sleeping snug as a bug now in the land of Oz.
Winter is a hard time for the body. Good you still had some of your old script to fall back on. Wishing you and hubby some nice quiet time to relax and catch up.
Faye I say some surgeons can be difficult to deal with from my own experience with my hip.
I waited a year knowing my body and knowing something was wrong and allowing my surgeon to keep telling me nothing was, couldn't be. In the end it was horribly wrong and I had suffered for a year.
Do what you have to. One thing I would suggest is to ask if he can't help you then refer you to someone who can. That might get his attention. I don't understand why it can't be accepted by a professional that the patient knows when something is wrong. Keeping you in my thoughts.
Martin you are smart man. Waste can works. I once used that to elevate a leg.
Back when I was working we had big thick phone books and I just put it over the hole of waste can.
Good to hear the pain is down some. Sure hope it is a no "honey do" weekend.
You have really out the hours in this week.
Seek dreamland for you too buddy. Hope they are good dreams.
Toni good golly doctor pregnant and was going to move. She should know better.
I hope she has a healthy pregnancy. Way to go Addie on the All Star team.
She is a sweetie to help with the tree.
Dianna sounds like "Home Sweet Home" has a new meaning after your Merry Maids.
I am still thinking about your enchiladas. Sure did make me hungry for some good Mexican food.
Minnie big hugs and I hope you are feeling better each day.
hugs from hippy
I can't believe she said that to you. Yes we do have expectations and hope for support and pain relief or treatment to help our illness and you should have that. I bet you waited two or three months for that appointment if not longer.
True heartfelt hugs to you.
hippy
martin, you're so out numbered (but with love and care!) don't cut off circulation to your feet with the waste can.
toni, glad addie made the all star team - yay! she seems like your little mini-me.
i had a very good day and overdid it, of course, but i'm slathering with icy hot. also got great news from my mother, so i should sleep very well.
wishing you each the same! sweet dreams, a pain-free night.
