All my stuff is at the new place now but it was the worst move ever. I had rented a huge truck (26') so the moving guy said he could get all my stuff on and all BF's big stuff too. He did it but it took 9 hrs to load the truck. There was a mixup at the rental place so I couldn't pick up the truck until 2:30 pm on Saturday. It wasn't loaded until almost midnight then we had to drive an hour to the new place. I wanted to just sleep at bf's and unload the next day but the guys moving me were all gung-ho so away we went. Then it took them 7 hrs to unload it at the new place. I finally got my mattress in my room and crashed at 6 am but the guys kept going until it was done at about 8. No one slept all night
Anyway I slept until noon then got up and started unpacking. Luckily my mother came over on Monday and gave me a hand for a few hours. I'm still wakling around alot of boxes but my bedroom is ok so at least I can sleep. Today we are back at bf's working on cleaning up his place and doing some more packing... it's chaotic.
Also it is our neighbor's anniversary today and it was my parents'' anniversary as well. We usually try to check in on mom now since dad is gone just to make sure she isn't too sad all day.
Well I am exhausted and really sore, gotta go get something done. Have a great day everyone, big hugs

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
When I moved my bed went up and the kitchen was put together and I gave myself a 2 day break. Rest and rest some more!
So sweet of you to stay close to your Mom. Keep her busy at this time, she'll appreciate it and you can use the time.

The plan is working. So pace yourself! It is beneficial to take in one box at a time and then you will not have to jump over boxes. I have never jumped so no problem. It also cut down on my need to keep sweeping and vacuuming.

Happy for you that you got moved Lisa. I always unpacked the kitchen and got the beds together first. Then I could rest and unpack the rest at my leisure. Good luck with your unpacking. I hope your BF is there to help. Hugs
