Thanks............I'm putting your titles on a sticky note to take with me to the TV. I have netflix so I will see if these are within their titles. I have seen Groundhog Day and it gets better the more you watch it because as the viewer we begin to see more and more details in the day of a life. It's funny and it is a thought provoking endearing film also.

Watching Murray go from a selfish cad of a neanderthal into a wonderful human being with depth was good stuff.............he becomes more and more thoughtful, kind and insightful about himself and others. It gives us hope that others can follow his example. IF we could have another chance, if we slow down and think and dig below the surface who could we truly be? And in general it's just a really fun movie to watch.............

My frig is jiggling.........so odd. I have glass items on top and I think something is rattling against something else..........sigh. Life at home is a funny business......it continues to be an adjustment.

Serce, another comedy - Legally Blond (Reese Witherspoon)

I love the comedies with Owen Wilson, Ben Stiller and Vince Vaughn. I never get tired of "The Wedding Crashers," "Starsky & Hutch" (especially if you remember the original TV series), "Zoolander," and "Dodgeball."

"Legally Blond" is great ... I also really like another Reese Witherspoon movie called "Election," with Matthew Broderick. Really funny -- she's a teenager trying to get elected class president.

Speaking of Reese Witherspoon, Sweet Home Alabama is another good one!

Favorite movies are: Shakespeare in Love, The Hours, American Beauty, Lion King, and The Pursuit of Happyness.

Ok...Night Shift is a good one! I love Sweet Home Alabama and Legally Blond, Overboard, First Wives Club, and It's Complicated.

thanks..............................i like great films period. i like movies from all different time periods......many genre.......i like indie flicksand the films that may not have gotten the recognition but deserve it........i like comedy cause a lot of days i need reasons to keep my head right.........to live in the moment, to find ways to smile, laugh and realize that the road i'm on "ain't so serious"........there is room to keep living in the moment...........

one day i was feeling low, so i watched Rocky.......and then made it a Rocky Movie marathon. I like so many kinds of movies............so I appreciate this list of flicks to add to my winter movie wonderland.............i like great films.......but they don't all have to be War & Peace to make my day. Know what I mean???????

Just watched EMMA (Gwyneth Paltrow) this past weekend. I really enjoy this movie and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys period movies.

Also just watched The Jane Austen Book Club. I would not call this a great movie, but it is really enjoyable. I recommend it.

Hmm...guilty pleasure films to watch over and over...well for me, that's a lot of '80s stuff that I've loved since I was a kid - Sixteen Candles; The Breakfast Club; Pretty In Pink; Better Off Dead; all three Back To The Future films; The Goonies; The Princess Bride; Dirty Dancing. Some '90s silly stuff too like To Wong Foo Thanks For Everything Julie Newmar and even dare I say SpiceWorld, both of which are just campy fun.

One of my husbands favorite movies is Dumb and Dumber,,,fist time i watched with him i wasn't impressed but after sitting thru it a few times i now have a laugh and think its pretty good...the scene where one gets his tongue stuck on the ice cracks me up every time and reminds me of my cousin doing the same in the freezer at home when we were kids..

If you want one thats a black comedy and pretty gross its called Black Sheep..its a New Zealand film but im sure i heard it was released in the US..its about an experiment on sheep that goes wrong and they turn into killers..its makes you laugh and freak out all at the same time.
