I'm not sure if anyone else here has been following the news about the ongoing issue known as "gamergate", but the things I've been reading about it are really bothering me.
If you're not familiar with gamergate, it's basically a huge clump of corruption and injustice centered around a scandal in gaming journalism. Basically a self-styled "feminist" cheated on her boyfriend and exchanged sex with several male journalists in exchange for positive reviews of some indie video game she created. Gamers around the world found out about it and started digging a mountain of evidence revealing that the situation is actually much worse than that and got upset with the professional gaming journalism sites/publications for behaving so unethically. They also called for changes to be made in order to hold gaming journalism to a higher standard of ethics given how much influence they hold on the video game industry and the ability of independent developers to survive in today's market.
This outcry was met by a ••••storm with the original offender playing victim and accusing everyone upset with what happened of being misogynists. Then various radical feminists and online "social justice warriors" (COMPLETELY different from actual social justice activists like Martin Luther King Jr and Ghandi) started attacking anyone who complained, testified or spoke out about the ethics/corruption issue.
Many websites and message boards where these groups hold influence have been banning and censoring anyone who doesn't side with them or complains about the injustices being committed. In various cases they have even been making false accusations of things like misogyny or advocating hate against women to web hosts to have the websites of those who speak out againt then on this issue shut down.
It's absolutely sickening how false accusations are being used to censor, supress and attack innocent people who dare to complain about unethical behavior in journalism.

I also think that both parties where in the wrong on this one. Just my two cents.
The money trail will open up the corruption/ethics violations, however, social media can be shut down, without any reason, and it is in the agreement that is clicked on to be a part of the social media site.
Business relationships that are intimate are difficult to break up with positive results, especially in "real time", where a post sent in haste, can waste indefinitely.
For this situation, both individuals made negative choices, with definite negative consequences.
