DAs, Prosecutors, and Judges Have No Shame

The one thing that really bothers me is that these prosecutors, DAs, cops, people in other areas of law enforcement and yes, judges----such as Scalia----always think they are so right about everything. They are so confident that they get cocky, which is what Scalia did.
Then when they are proven wrong, we don't hear a peep out of them. Never man enough to say they were wrong or to apologize. The words "I am sorry" is not in their vocabulary.
Even when they try their best to execute an innocent man on death row, who maybe has been there for decades, they rarely offer anything close to an apology. To add insult to injury, many times these same DAs are behind the push to NOT compensate the innocent man who spent a good part of his life in prison.
It is funny that with every criminal defendant, the DA makes a bold statement that "he MUST take responsibility for his crime" but when they make a mistake and are wrong, do they take responsibility? Hell, no. They cover up, make excuses, or won't even address the fact that they complicated a man's life and were wrong. Really small human beings we are dealing with here.
One story that made my day every day for weeks was the story of a man who they caught with some images, which they were sure were of an underage female. He went to trial, the DA was cocky and ready to break the champagne bottle for a celebration, so he brought in this "expert witness" who testified she was probably 13 or 14 years old.
Here comes the young lady in the images, Lupe Fuentes, to the rescue. She came to the trial, proved that she was over 18 years of age, and the prosecutor had egg on her face. I would have loved to have spoken with the expert witness.
Said "expert witness" aka a gunslinger, was wrong and made a fool of himself.
What made the story even worse was that the DA had evidence that should have proven the young lady in the images was legal age, but the DA would have none of that. She went to trial anyway.
This story gave me laughing material for a month. Rescued by a porn star!!!

I have to tell everyone here, this young lady may be a porn star, but she has more character and courage than ten of these overzealous DAs will ever hope to have.
The problem with DAs, judges, and some cops is that they are shameless. They know no shame.

I was just thinking that perhaps as people can be called upon to be jurors it might be a good idea for people to be called upon to be witnesses to execution... Anyone who believes in executing should be able to be called upon to be witnesses... Being that up close and personal would and should let people give very serious thought to what they deem to be right

Due to my increased paranoia, anxiety, and a panic attack over the weekend, my psychiatrist has put me back in a full dose of Zyprexa until further notice. Every time I think I'm getting ahead something happens and it's back to square one. I knew he was gonna do this but I can't help feeling disappointed. It is what it is.
