I Got The SCS Trial

I am home. I didn't want to set myself up for another massive disappointment from w/c, so I didn't post that it got approved again. The state of NC Industrial Commission stepped in and got the thing approved.

I had it done this morning at 8:00 AM. The anesthetic is wearing off and the pain is setting in from the procedure, I'm going to try and sleep before it totally does.

I won't know probably for a couple of days how effective it will be, but it's buzzin' away right now. Thank you all for your support through that tough time I had. I'll keep you posted.

I am so happy for you David. This is a break you needed. Now it will do its work for you. I am glad surgery is over and that you are on the road to recovery from the surgery and also am praying for the best.

I just woke up. I slept most of the day. This thing is crazy. When she was programming it, and I felt the vibration in the back of my head, it actually brought tears to my eyes. The neck pain that caused my headaches was right in that spot.

I am very sore. I was in the procedure room for over two hours. I wished you all were here so that I could share my joy, but for someone I can't see or touch you are my true friends who get me through tough times, and I am thankful.

I'll be back on tomorrow, or later if I feel better.

Yes, I love my mine, and the little discomfort that you feel now, will go away by tomorrow. I know that women can take pain better than men, so you might be in pain for 3 days or so, just apply some ice on it, and that should help.
Take care and I am so happy that you were able to get it done!

Well, it's been 24hours, I feel pretty good considering how long I was under the knife. I think it took 3 stitches to close up the incision.(lol) I slept a lot yesterday, so today should be a different story. I haven't moved too much, I want the leads to stay put. I plan on going out tonight.

I am glad to have great folks like ya'll here for me. I'll be back in full swing soon.
