I know a friend's DH had one done and he was absolutely a different person and able to do things that he had not been capable of doing in years.
You won't know yourself and so glad the WC actually did something for a change as there are so many negative stories about them.
Will keep you in my prayers that everything will go well and the results will be great for you.
Hugs
Kallie
I absolutely DO believe that good things come to those in need and I am sending that to you
I absolutely DO have hope that you will get your implant
and if W/C fails to make the above happen
I have extra voo doo dolls and a brand new box of stick pins
HUGS my friend!
Good luck!
I truly hope that the real implant works as well as the trial did. My 1st & best pain doctor whom I went back to last year for my RSD (disease w/ permanent & spreading nerve damage) used to do SCS implants but said he was so happy I'd never gotten one (after seeing me over 9yrs later) as he no longer does them & believes they only work in 1 out of 4 patients; to him a 75% failure rate but he did state that most did do well on the trial one.
I am not trying to discourage you; only inform you. I do believe from seeing post/replies from others here that it has helped some people change their lives; I guess it's that 25% it does help and I pray you are one of them.
Prayers,
Rhonda
I am meeting with the surgeon today to discuss the spinal cord stimulator. The trial was a huge success so I'm hoping the permanent will be approved quickly by workers' comp.
Keep me in your thoughts.
David.
