Now for the reality check...
There is absolutely nothing wrong with what you are feeling and how you are struggling. Remember that you have no control over the symptoms you experience as you are doing everything you can to help yourself with medications, procedures and taking care of you body.
If you need a handicapped sticker for your car---go get one. In my state, my doc filled out the form that I got from the DMV. I took it back to the DMV and they issued my tags. I am handicapped parking until 2015 right now.
I will tell you the same thing my doc told me when I got my stickers. If you feel you can..park where you want to and walk when you can. If you don't feel like you can walk far--use the sticker. That was three years ago when I was able to walk much more..after the ambulance had to pull me out of the car and take me to the ER. Now...I always use my sticker.
Go get a sticker David...
HUGS!
I wouldn't even think of measuring whether your injuries "deserve" your feeling of frustration. You are so respectful and caring of everyone else all the time. Finding something difficult that didn't used to be difficult is maddening and often scary. We don't know the future and can't pretend we are immortal anymore.
Giggly hugs,
Theresa
You are couragous and now it is time to get the handicapped sticker. Love you! Pauli
You should have your Doc give you a handicap letter for the DMV, here in Fla. we do it every 5 years, and I just hang the placard from my rear view mirror. And no, you have manned up enough already, so go get the letter, OK?
Hugs,
I would never use it unless I had to. When my wife and I go shopping she drives. It's not the walking as much as the carrying.
its completly normal to have these thoughts and feelings. if you need it you need it.
big big hugs
rachel
God Bless
And like others have stated here, on good days, I don't use it. At least if you HAVE them, you have a CHOICE whether to use it that day or not!!
Go get some!!
