I know how scary it is to have a Fentanyl reaction. I hope you are feeling better and please let your Dr.know.It is something your Dr.should know about.
Take care,

I finally got to speak with a nurse whom I've never dealt with before. After we talked for a few minutes, she asked me what my name was!!! I'd already talked to someone before her and considering the time I spent on hold, I assumed she was getting my chart out.
She asked me if I'd be ok to just stop the Fentanyl completely. She'd already asked me a second time what the med was...grrrr. I told her that my doc said that you can't stop without tapering the dose down. Shouldn't she have known that? Anyway, she's going to speak with the doc on duty (not mine) and get back to me.
I'm still feeling sick and dizzy. If I had the time, I think I could sleep the rest of the day.
Thanks for all the responses. I really appreciate it.
Hugs...xoxo
Changing day is when this is most likely to happen.....you may need to leave some time between
The removal of one and putting on the other....
And ...you need to be certain that the site of removal doesn't still have med on it after..
It's still entering your system if it does.
I've had these fentanyl rushes from high fever over-activating them....
And they are pretty scary....
Hope ua get they lower dose n hope it works for you....
Hugs...jc
I hope they get you straightened up and this never happens again.
Hugs,
Toni
Like irocket said, if this happens again please go to ER, i had to do that with my methadone one time cause my doc increased my dose too fast, they know how to handle these situations there.
I hope you called your doc and got this sorted out.
