I'm here. Had plans on going out but ups sent me an email that my package will arrive today and I will have to be here to sign for it. That's ok, too cold to get out anyway :)

I am dragging again..... feels like something in my throat and head.

Good morning everyone. I was still up at 3 am, not sure why I had so much trouble getting to sleep. Woke at 8 this morning anyway so it will be a looooong day. My grandson Noah should be arriving about noon and I'll have him for the rest of the day while my daughter finishes her move. I sure hope she gets it all done today cause I don't think my body can handle another day with a 2 yr old. Last night was horrible, I was in way too much pain and nothing was touching it - very tempting to take extra meds when that happens but I got out the ice pack and just laid and did nothing. I'm so sick of this but I was doing good so hopefully once I'm done babysitting this week I'll get back on track and have a better week next week.

I hope everyone has a minimal pain day today and takes some time to care for yourself. Hugs and peace,

Feeling kinda cruddy this morning.
Definatly have some goop in my upper chest.
Joy's off today and she helped me get the kids ready this morning now we're just kicking back having coffee and relaxing.
Moms surgery went well and my parents will probably be back from the hospital this afternoon.
I sort of slept last night, a little here and a little there, but I'll take what I can get.
I really don't have a plan for today, just going to take it as it comes. I could really use a nice day weatherwise to get some things done. Not sure how warm it will get today but it doesn't seem to bad out right now. Hopefully it will warm up some.
We had a real nice evening last night, I let the boys help me make pizza and they really thought that was fun. Plus it gave Joy the night off from making dinner. After the boys went to bed Joy and I watched a movie, Horrible Bosses, or something like that, it was real funny if you haven't seen it yet.
My motivation has really been in the crapper lately, I wish I could turn that around but I'm not exactly feeling good so that's not helping.
I'm hoping this crud I've got doesn't get worse, I'm taking over the counter stuff to fight it and hopefully I won't get worse.

Rough night here too. The 10,000 Demons of Charmin attacked just as I was falling asleep abt. midnight!! Was back and forth to the bathroom until about 3 a.m.!! Drained today! And its COLD. Not as cold as many of you deal w/ but still cold for us!! The wood stove does feel very good though.

So, a hot bath, a few crackers and then errands to run. That may be all that's done here today!

@Mike...creepin' crud is making the rounds at our house too, but at least it isn't the flu! My sleep is like a rollercoaster ride..up & down, with you, take what I can get. Sounds like a fun pizza party...that's what it is all about!


Me...probably gonna kill myself over the next few days, trying to get Christmas up by end of this weekend. If I didn't have a 6yo expecting Santa, I swear I would just skip it! But being the Christmas freak I am I would still miss it.

Oooops....didn't mean to skip you Nealytee! Been there with the bathroom and toilet paper fest! I remember when K was 2 and I didn't quite make it to the bathroom, and she stood there shaking her little finger at me saying, " no-no Mama, no poopy on the floor!"...LOL!

Lisa, how kind you are to watch your grandson while your daughter moves. I am sure it is a huge help for her. Sorry it has taken it out of you, though, and I hope your pain is under control now. Chasing a toddler is hard work! They are demanding little buggars! I bet he is cute though!

Mike, sorry you are feeling yucky. Must be lots of stuff going around. Glad you have your wife there to help you out today, and also glad to hear your mom's surgery went well. Hope you get some sleep tonite, and feel better tomorrow.

Nealy, I ove your description of your night! Charmin demons! Sorry this happened...it must leave you feeling tired and weak. Hope you can take it easy after your errands. Also hoping the demons are now at bay!

4solace, please be careful with your decorating now! We want you in one piece for the big day! I miss having little kids in the house this time of year. My youngest is 15, and everyone sleeps in until like noon on Christmas....although I don't miss them wanting to be up at 4am, when I had just gone to bed an hour before after playing Santa! Try not to overdo!

Hoping that Manny's surgery goes well today, and that it brings her good relief as she heals.

Lisa I watch my granddaughter from my bed. I've done this since she was 18 mths old. We watch movies, play games, read books, sing songs, take naps (hint hint) have snacks, etc... all in my bed. Start this at a early age and they will understand your limitations and they very much love us anyways!

Tonna sounds like you're going to enjoy this just pace yourself. Take breaks of hot chocolate and cookies!

I haven't been up to much. I have a mri scheduled Monday and am using the transit bus for the first time. We'll see how that goes.

Oh wow...lots of stuff going on around here with everyone.

I hope to hear about Becky/Manny soon, if anyone knows -- please post asap. Lindy, prayers for you as well...I know both of you will just be wrapped in protection and grace.

I can' respond to everyone tonight but, for all those that are not feeling well...I hope you start to feel better soon. I hope that stress melts away and all of the Xmas needs get answered in as little pain as possible.

We plan on putting up a tree this weekend and, family pictures are Saturday. My little duck finally slept last night for a few hours after 2 Trazadone...I hate that she needs these meds but, I am so thankful that they give her some reprieve from the difficulties that she faces. My son is ok other than the shoulder...he is a tough and stoic guy...I have no idea where he gets that from.

Hello Cherry! I went to see my psyche Dr. today and she's going to let me stay out for a little longer!!!!!!! LOL Naw I'm doing well.... had a peaceful day today.....me and the wife have some Mc donalds coupons we got in the mail. I got 2 fish filets for the price of one!
