Good morning, Cherry. Did you call your doc for stronger meds? I did mention to the gal who does my hair about your injury and suggestion that she have a pillow for our necks. She has always been very careful with my neck as I told her way back that I have artritis in my neck. She said that she would have a pillow for next month. Anyway, I am very pleased with my hair cut and color; always is a perk me up!

Jan, I hope you are feeling better this morning. I love your posts as you are straight forward and to the point. I hope your pain is less and that you can get comfortable soon. I join with you in wishing Mike the best.

Me: I have an informal meet and greet for coffee at the Starbucks at Barnes and Noble. I am going to pick up a few things at the mall nearby and head home. I am hoping that we can load Turbo Tax and at least get my son's taxes done. I doubt if I will go with Bob tonight and I doubt that I will drive. We are supposed to have rain all weekend. The band did hire a bass player. He is dynamite and our performances should be much better. Bob will not be singing tonight as his voice is still shot. He does some better.

To the rest of you, I send love, hugs and support for a nice weekend and less pain. I appreciate all of you so very much.

I am headed back to bed shortly. Woke up at 3:30.

My work has been taking it's toll on my neck and spine. I'm hoping to get assigned to a different job location soon, but for now it's been rough. Of course being stubborn and pig headed, I keep on, but I have hope.

Good morningeveryone. I get to spend some time with my wonderful little grandson today while his mommy is working. Yesterday he was with me for an hour or so and as I went to sit I had a pinch of pain and hollered 'ow ow ow' he leans in close to me and in his most concerned voice says 'what da matter Nonie, what da matter?' He's such a sweetheart. I hope I never forget his little kisses and how he says 'I muv you Nonie' I've been writing down stories of his 'cuteness', there are so many.

I woke up in pain today, last night was horrible. I layed on the couch trying to watch a movie and coming on the end I was unable to pay attention and just cringed with the pain shooting down my right leg. My awesome bf brought me my breakthrough med and waited with me until it kicked in and I was able to get up and go to bed. I haven't had pain with that intensity for a while, especially not while just laying down doing nothing. My pain levels have gotten high while I'm at work but its harder to measure when it comes in waves and spasms... its worse but can't really give it a higher number as its not a 10 for sure, just awful.

Work this week did not go as well as I had hoped. I was scheduled for 3 hrs mon, wed, and fri. Monday I only got 2 hrs in, Wednesday I did all 3 and Friday I managed 2 1/2, just couldn't push through that last 1/2 hr. I was forcing myself to stay for the hour before I left. At a certain pain level (8 I believe) I lose my ability to concentrate so trying to review documents for a workshop I'm supposed to plan became impossible. Better luck next week I hope. thankfully Monday is a holiday here so no work.

Lindy, Spring is almost here and soon, the rain will at least come with sun! take care and take it easy as possible my friend. BTW, I filed my taxes for free online with TurboTax.com. I did not have to download anything and it was very, very simple.

SSL, little kids are sooooo awesome. My mom and I were talking about when my son was 2 or so. He and Nana were running some errands and she said to him "Get in the car little pickle!" My son, the ever serious one said in reply "Nana, I am not a pickle! I am a little boy!" LOL!!!
I am sorry that you are hurting more right now and are having a difficult time. I am thankful that you have such support in your life though. Rest as much as you can my friend.

ME>>>>>> The boy had over his two best guy friends last night, my weekend sons. They were up all night with about 20 bucks in candy and crap from the dollar store. Right now, my little living room looks like a stag party gone awry!!! It also smells like man out there -- Icky! I am glad he had a good time though.

Good morning everyone. Thank you again for all the birthday wishes yesterday. I had a great day. Spent the first part of the day at school. I LOVE those kids!! My daughters best friend brought be flowers and her other best friend made me the most beautiful card. They all gave me tons of hugs! It made me soo happy to be there, even though it is hard to do library and lunch room on the same day. Then it was off to old navy to get something to wear tonight. We are going out with 10 of our closest friends to dinner somewhere with a band! It is supposed to be a surprise but hubby is sooo not good at keeping things a secret!! I don't know where we are going but it is going to be nice to be with everyone. Just the adults tonight. Most of us have kids so this will definately be different to be with all of them without little ones!!

So after school, shopping, and a few errands I was able to relax and rest. Hubby made an awesome dinner..sooo good! We had a nice quiet evening.

Cherry... so sorry the neck is not any better yet. Hopefully after today you can let it heal!

Lisa..love hearing about your grandson, but do not love hearing your in so much pain. Hope it eases up soon.
Brandi....LOL and YUCK....smells like men!!!!!! hahahah I have to say I do not have that problem here. It usually smells like nailpolish and lotions from Bath and Body Works!! I'll keep that!! But it is great your son is home and having fun with his buddies. I have to refill my meds too!! Thanks for the reminder!!

I had my brother and 19 mth old nephew over for cheeseburgers. They are always great company and give me many laughs and smiles. My nephew is a picky eater though. He only eats about 5-6 things. I never saw that in someone so young and he's been at this for mths. He doesn't even like icecream! I told him he wasn't allowed in my house! He's just lucky I didn't have him arrested.teehee
