Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) Support Group
Sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) is any sudden and unexplained death of an apparently healthy infant aged one month to one year. SIDS is responsible for roughly 50 deaths per 100,000 births in the US.
A lot has happened since the death of my son. It will have been 18 months on the 17th. I haven't been on ds in a while and now that I am on, I have noticed some new faces. I am truly sorry that you had to find a group like this one but I am glad your here. Wanted to take the time to give my condolences. I was hoping you could Introduce yourself and share your story with all of us here!. Older members are welcome to share as well.

My condolences to you as well. I lost my daughter Olivia 04/21/2012. She was 7 wks old. Iv never been the same since her death and not sure I ever will be. It's really hard to see people in the world go on in their lives being happy....when my world has been flipped upside down. Sometimes I just want to scream "do you not remember I lost Olivia....because I sure have not!" It's like people forget and I continue to struggle daily. I really dont want people to be unhappy but sometimes their happiness really hurts me.

I am sorry for your loss as well. I lost my daughter when she was 88 days old. She was my only little girl Not a day that goes by that I dont think of her. I am constantly looking for ways to keep her memory alive. I am always available if anyone needs to talk... xoxo

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper?
