Well when my son passed from sids he was only six weeks old and he had gotten shots but it was after that that he passed dont think it was due to the shots.
My new baby had gotten all his shots and nothing has happened to him at all he will be 20months next month.
Now I have heard that the shots and Autism has some sort of connection with that I am very nervous . But I havent heard of it causing our children to go to bed and not breath again but then again so much stuff pops up daily so maybe there is a connection. I just wish there was ONE THING that we knew would help us so when we put our baby to sleep we know that he or she will wake up the next morning !

@Medic actually in Michigan you still can waive certain vaccinations which is some ways is scary when you have a child in day care who has had several of them waived by the parent, and the child's doctor (both must sign the waiver). We had to waive Prevnar for my toddler because he had a pretty bad reaction to it the first time he had it (fever of 104 for 3 days and was just seriously ill). As for Nicholas, he had his first round of shots due in later part of the week he died, so no he never had shots beyond the Hep B he got at birth.

Kairi wasn't old enough for her shots yet, she had her 2 month visit for shots scheduled for the week after she passed.

Shots don't cause SIDS.

nattie was a preemie also and they gave them to her on schedule just like any regular baby, i wish that i would have thought to ask if it was safe so early. even though i am only natties g-ma, i went to every appointment she had. i talked to a nurse about this the other night and i asked her. she told me that babies do die from them.
