Audrey was 7 months...but I just wanted to offer my support. T his is a terrible time of the year for me and all us mommies I am sure... i can't imagine having a birthday thrown in there too. I am so sorry that little MIss Annalee won't get to meet her big bro...I am thinking about you girl!

Annalee did meet her big brother hunny....before she came to you...he chose her for you and Nick specifically.....truly not sure if this is true, but it helps me to think my Nicholas picked Marissa and Julia to be our babies.

I am so sorry hon... i feel the same way too... this time of the year is especially hard to me too.
Kamilla was 4 months and one week old when she passed. like i said, i am having a harder time this time around too...

Anna was the same as Austin 5 months and 1 day. I feel the same as you there seem to be loads of people who lost their babies at 5 months to SIDS. I like you followed all the advice, it makes no sense.

Yes me too Brandy. Sean would be turning 1 on December 21st so that day will be the worst for me. Sean too was 5 months and 3 weeks. I thought the same thing yesterday because I saw a new mother join whose baby was 5 months and that thought crossed my mind as well. There are too many babies PERIOD that we have lost to SIDS. It's all so very sad. Big hugs to all of you!

I feel the same Brandy our Colton was 5 months 2days old and he is 1 on Dec. 28th. I have no trust in the medical profession at all anymore I don't feel like any of them know what they are talking about!

My son was not that old but I understand the feeling. They say 2-4 months but my son was only 12 days old. Some times I just think they use SIDS as a cop out cause they really have no idea what happened. I really hate having something like this happen when I can't find any good research and they can tell me nothing that I should do different with other babies I have. My first son will be 5 in March and I did everything the same with him. He is a perfectly healthy baby boy and the only time he goes in the hospital is an accident from living in the woods. I wish we had answers as to why it happened and what we could do different. I will be thinking about all of you come the holidays I know it is going to be hard for us. This will be my first Christmas without Deacon. He was born May 5th and passed away May 17th 2010 and I am currently pregnant and Due Ma 3rd. On top of all the holiday stress I have to be reliving the pregnancy because I am having apts, tests, and finding out the sex all at the same time of year. My heart goes out to all of you. I very much appreciate having a support group but I wish we never had to meet this way.

Jaxton was 5months and 6 days. I personally think that giving babies shots at 2 and 4 months have something to do with it. Jaxton was late in getting his 4 months shots because we were out of town, he died 10 days after getting his shots. I have read somewhere that the affects of the vaccinations last for up to 2 weeks.

Micah was 10 weeks so spot on as far as statistics are concerned.

Jaxtonmom, Micah was due for his shots 3 days before he died. I decided to postpone and he still died. Please don't blame yourself. I know how I would have felt it I HAD gone ahead and given him his shot. Even so he died.

Tegan was 3 days shy of being 4 months... she was going for her four month shots in 5 days! The holidays are proving to be extremely hard for me as well! My brother and sister in law had bought me a plane ticket for me and T to go see them for Christmas... i was thinking about still going but every time i look at the ticket and see that it says "one lap infant" on my ticket i can't even imagine going with out her... its so hard just living everyday with out her here with me and i know you all know how it feels! Praying and thinking of all of our lil angels... ((Hugs)) to all of you!!

Alia was 15 weeks and 2 days.....almost 4 months.......

Hey Hon, You know I'll be thinking of Austin on Christmas day. Moose aka Nathan was 5 1/2 months to the day old.

Kaiya was one day shy of 5 months when she stopped breathing. She passed away the day of her 5 month birthday in the hospital.
