Hello, I joined this group partly because I tried to find a support group to go to in person and the closest us 4 hours away. Id love to talk to more fellow stutters in the group. I've been a stutterer since I was in 1st grade.
I just joined a couple of weeks ago for much the same reason. The closest support group that I could find was an hour and a half away and they meet on a weekday. With kids and work, that's not a drive I could make.
I've stuttered since around 1st grade also, I'm 42 now. It has improved greatly over the years but it still raises its ugly head regularly, and often at the most inopportune times. That's the nature of the beast, I suppose. Anyway, i hope all is well with you. Take care and have a great week.
