Stroke Support Group

A stroke is an acute neurologic injury where the blood supply to a part of the brain is interrupted, either by a clot in the artery or if the artery bursts. The brain perfused by that artery no longer receiving oxygen carried by the blood and dying with cessation of function from that part of the brain.

Left internal capsule stroke

Has anyone had a stroke in this area or know anything about the function of this part of the brain. I am having difficulty in finding such information on the internet. I will soon being seeing a Neurologist but living in such a small town it can take a coulpe months to get an appointment.Any insite into this topic would be ever so welcome!!

Try Web MD or I am sure some where there might be links on this site that would help you find information! Let me know if you find it, curious as to what type of stroke that is. Never heard of it, doesn't mean it don't exsist though. Wish you the best!! ;-)

    My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
